Gym with Jodi/Bill and Trivia with Liam crew + Jodi/Bill

FEBRUARY 3, 2024

Alright, here goes the second one I’m writing for February. I admit it’s after midnight now, so technically it’s the 5th. Today was a day that I hung out with Jodi and Bill quite a bit, and even brought them to the Saturday night trivia session with Liam. In the trivia, my geography knowledge got us one answer very clearly, which made it a good trivia night for me. It was asking which country was West of Uruguay, and I knew right away it was Argentina. One answer that Jodi really helped on was knowing one answer was Constant Comment, a tea we all drink.

The other, more important thing I should add is that I came to a very important conclusion while I was texting Caroline during trivia. It was basically that the only thing I need to ensure to allow me to enjoy the many good things in my life is controlling the cancer quite a bit more. That’s the same situation that got me into Fogo in the first place too.

I admit that at the end of tonight, I wrote, “leaning towards it being possible that everything is figured out and good.” That’s also the reason I’m doing this writing, when I haven’t done it in like half a week.

Lemme back up now into earlier in the day. I drove over to Jodi and Bill’s at like 2:30pm. Later in the day, the three of us drove over to the JCC. Right around the time we left for the JCC, like 4pm, is also when I took my medication so I’d be able to eat a real dinner later.

At the gym, we did a bit of the stair stepper machine, and then while Bill swam Jodi and I did some bike pedaling machine that I’m not sure of the name for. I grabbed one extra BeReal of Jodi on that machine. After we finished up at the gym, Bill drove us over to Pho Pasteur, where we rapidly ordered and literally told them that we were in a bit of a rush to get it there on time. I was kind of surprised the food we ordered came out. We ordered one egg roll and spring roll to share, and then Bill also got a Bánh mì sandwich that I tried a bite of.

Oh well, I’m definitely not posting this til tomorrow because I need to sleep on it. I also wrote down that one thought that also occurred to me... that in a way, “nothing matters,” can actually mean that everything is figured out and is good. There’s a lot in this day that I didn’t write, so I guess it didn’t really happen. Oh well.
