July 11, 2024:
Ok, this morning, I put on my sparkly orange eyeshadow, which I matched with my Cheetos Shirt. Then we went to my session of physical therapy at Abbott Northwestern, I found it pretty helpful, and the therapist, who was also named Jessica, just like an occupational therapist of mine, was decently helpful. During the session, she also had me stand up and sit down a few times, 5 times to be more specific. Honestly, I also felt like it would have been very useful to have Miguel there with me, since he’s gonna be with me for the week at the cabin and all. Oh, and we went home and then I amazingly remembered that I had a blood test, even though my dad had forgotten. He was impressed with that, and so was I! I talked with the lady who always takes my blood, Shirola, and she actually reminded me that last time I’d had it taken by a woman named Grace, which I had forgotten, and I remembered telling her that she had my mother’s middle name! Shirola also told me that she’d been the one to train Grace like 10 years ago, which I’m a little bit surprised to have remembered, but it’s also an objectively interesting fact (which I also did not write down at all). Well, I also had a brief conversation with Talia in my bed too, and it was before my therapy, around the time when she was leaving to go garden at Kathy’s house, who’s also one of my mom’s closest friends. Kathy also recently told us that she’s not gonna be able to go to all the brain injury support groups for this summer because she’s golfing on Tuesdays. Frankly, I didn’t really enjoy the group the recent time that I went with Miguel either, so I’m not sure if I’ll attend any more of them either! Frankly, the fun part about those meetups was getting a ride with Kathy, and I’ve honestly never deeply enjoyed them! Well, looking back at my notes from my therapy sessions, with Leanne we decided that I wanted to check in on how my sister is doing a bit more, and she also talked about the fact that I should be trying to show expressions on my face when I meet up with all my family at the cabin! Oh, and I also added a stroke to the edges of my photos on this page for the first time just now, and I set the “leading” to 15, which looks decent to me! Oh, and I should also mention that I just solved a computer issue with screenshots not saving to my desktop, which I needed to fix to post this on the 12th too, at least with the photo included!
