Yoga with Jordan and hot tub and mom and Talia before Barbie

September 1, 2023: Today I took my meds at 5:08am, with an alarm, because I knew I’d wanna take the night ones earlier in the day so I could go and have popcorn at the movie at night. I had the morning meds with a 13g fat apricot mango yogurt. Then, in the morning, I slept a bit more and then drove to yoga class with Jordan. Debi was in the class today, and she even showed me a picture of the pink outfit she wore to see the Barbie movie. I’ve never worn pink to Barbie. I didn’t take a selfie picture at yoga, but I did take one of my extra BeReals in the class. Also, in the locker room, I talked to a girl who was in my class whose name was Maya. Then, after that, I tried to go to the pool to swim some laps, but there was a group class for older women going on in the pool, so I couldn’t. Because of that I just chilled in the hot tub, taking another extra BeReal there. Then I went over and hung out at Papa’s house for a few hours, and we also made lunch, which was a tuna salad. And for the afternoon, we played a little Canasta, which I always enjoy doing. I also did my makeup therapy appointment at 2pm, since we'd missed the one yesterday. My takeaway from that was that I should stop trying to pursue happiness. I also succeeded in taking my night meds at 4pm exactly, with an 11g fat yogurt. Then, I met up with mom and Talia to see the Barbie movie. For me, it’s the 5th time seeing it. I’ve seen it with Eleanor, Heidi, Papa, Grandma and now mom and Talia. When we went to go see it, we got food first, at Highland Grill. I remembered that I’d ordered the poké bowl last time I was there, and this time I got the pierogies with mayonnaise, not the horseradish sauce that came with it. It was an appetizer, but for me it was a meal. For our drinks, I also got the apple ginger crush, which was a non-alcoholic drink option. Mom actually said that she thought the flavor of mine was the best, and Talia also agreed it was good too. Then we walked across the street to see the movie, and I could have popcorn since I wasn’t trying to take my meds after the movie. Really, I do believe that it was significantly better to take them an hour early before, because we didn’t get out of the movie til like 9:30, so if I waited til after, I wouldn’t have been able to take them til like 10pm. Anyways, after mom dropped me and Talia off at Papa's house, we had some good talks with him. We talked a bit about how in the Barbie movie, I really relate more to the Ken who says that he doesn't know who he really is anymore, in the real world. My quote was "it's time to discover who Ken really is."
