Yoga with Debi, Poke with family, Wonderettes with Debi, Creative Process

November 1, 2023:

A lot happened today. Part of me wants to not look at notes and just write from memory based on the pictures. I’ll try. First of all, I did my meds kinda late this morning because I knew I’d be doing stuff into the night too. I had my meds at 9am with my leftover barbecue pizza with 11g fat for a third of it. I made that choice because I was actually a tiny bit hungry this morning. I also had a hard time waking up. Based on a screenshot on my phone, I’d been up at 2am. I remember waking up then and being surprised it wasn’t morning, so it wasn’t like I stayed up until 2.

At any rate, I was wayy more tired this morning than I usually am. I kind of felt like if I hadn’t had commitments today, I could have napped most of the day. Anyways, I didn’t do that. Instead, I drove over to the JCC for my 10am yoga class. At yoga, I told Debi that I was going to see her show later in the day. Also got a BeReal of her doing yoga. On my way out of the gym, I told the receptionist Hannah about “my blog,” aka this project. It’s the first time I’ve introduced the photo of the day project like that, and she was interested. I showed her a tiny peak of yesterday’s page on my phone. Then, I ran home to fix my makeup and drop off gym stuff, and I picked Papa up to have lunch with grandma and Jodi before him and I went to the show. We decided to go to a place called J&J poke. I wan’t hungry at all, partly because I’d had the actual food for breakfast. So I ordered a “small bowl,” which also meant I had to custom make it and not choose one of the predetermined bowls. So I did that, and also got a guava nectar drink that I copied from Jodi. Took one of my extra BeReals there too. Right after we ate, I drove Papa over to Sidekick Theatre for the show. It was a nice show, though not the kind of thing I’d have independently sought out for sure.

I was absolutely shocked that Debi could sing and act so well. After the show, we were able to talk to her for a bit, and it turns out that she actually knows about my high school theater director Hannah. The pic I have of Debi after the show is just while she was talking to another older friend and us at the end. After the show, I actually started to tell Papa that I’d prefer to go home and chill rather than spend a few hours at his house. It worked out really well because he also had mock trial practice to attend tonight. When I dropped him off, I talked to Talia though, and we decided she’d come over to see if Papa'd accidentally given me two of her sports bras. She did come over, and we looked. They clearly weren’t in my bras area, and then after like an hour of talking, she did see them put away with my tank tops. I told her that I’d actually been looking for new sports bras that weren’t too tight, and I tried one of hers on and decided to go to Target and buy one of them, in my size, some time soon.

Then, I can’t quite remember what I did until my 6:15pm “creative process” class. Ok, I’m gonna look, which I haven’t done once while writing this entire thing. I went to look at my notes, and realized that I didn’t have the notebook. After dumping out my purse, I went outside to check, and it was literally on the ground by my car. So after Talia left, I realized I’d forgotten to give her Papa’s scarf and Goo Gone to bring home. Then, I stocked my car with some scarves, which I found the other day and also had been brought to me from home by Talia. Then, I organized some stuff for the last hour or so, and drove over to my Creative Process class. I remembered it was at Justice Page, not Ella Baker like my Spanish class, unlike last time.

At the class, there were fewer people than usual. It was some girls named Madison, Karen and Sheila, and also the instructor Paige. Today I learned that Paige had actually kind of been the class creator, since I asked her if she’d ever taken it, and she told me that. At the class, everyone was cold, not just me like I was earlier in the day. We think they turned off the school’s heat for nighttime. After class, I was able to talk a bit to the girl Madison, and she said that she was a bit science/math person, the opposite of me. Now, she works for a company called HackJack, though I can’t find any sign of it online so I might not be writing it correctly. After class, I drove home and decided to make the Trader Joe’s orange chicken for 14g fat. I was able to find the container of sauce I’d saved from last time in the fridge, but then I ended up dropping most of it over my stove. I had barely enouggh for tonight, so I’m gonna be out of luck next time I wanna have the orange chicken. Meds at 9pm. Mom suggested that I use the orange sauce that comes with Chinese food, that Papa has at his house still. Might take a shower now and then sleep.
