Yoga barre class with Debbie and pedicure

March 1, 2023: Well today was a fantastic day. In the morning I went to the barre yoga class at the JCC. Let me look back at my notes. Well, first thing in the morning I texted Mike that I had gotten home safe the night before. I also printed out my new gym list that Will had made for me. Then I went to the JCC for the barre class. I learned that Debbie, who taught it, is a group fitness teacher and is also a singer. She’s actually starting a show choir group at the gym, but I’m not interested in singing so won’t join. She did also say that her degree was in musical theater and now she teaches the group classes at the gym, and she does the barre class every Wednesday at 10am. That’ll be my plan now. After the barre class I did my whole workout, including the new things that Will had added that I had printed out. I did ask about the lateral pulldown and Romanian deadlift. Then I swam and showered and was just heading back home when I texted mom and asked if I was going to the pedicure alone. I was, and she sent me the address. Then I went there instead of home, and it was also great. I got Subway before going in and I got the bella mozza sandwich and Dr. Pepper with jalapeño chips. For the pedicure, I decided on the color grass fields and I sent mom a picture of my toes and she said I matched my car. I said that it kind of symbolizes the fact that I drove there alone, which is the first time I’ve done that since the accident. The woman who did my nails, Trina, asked about how my mom was doing since I usually come with her. I told her that she was doing well and that I’m going to Florida in May with mom and friend. Then I went home and Papa brought by Chipotle, which was a good meal. I had the sofritas carnitas and chips. Then I ran back to Lunds to pick up my wallet that I’d left there the other day. When I walked in and asked for a supervisor she asked right away if I was there for my wallet, and said that it had been left in the employee break room. Funny because part of me had been wanting not to finish my Chipotle chips until I got my wallet back, and I did that.
