Working out with Bernie/Neil plus Eduardo at Whitey’s

Alright, it’s the 7th now! I just barely made it to my 9am workout with Bernie. I told him I’d be late because I slept over at a friend’s house last night, but I was there at 8:56am. In a way, HAVING to do things is what’s making me happy. It doesn’t even matter that the things I “have” to do are things that I’ve decided to do. Bernie told me that if I didn’t get there on time, he’d continue to work out with his friend Neil, who I learned today is also retired. So in a way, we’re all people who don’t “have” to do anything. We just decide to go and work out at the gym together. Also, the fact that my phone died is the other thing that makes me feel happy. Due to that, I had to ask Bernie to take a photo of us for this project at the end. The other two photos I have are just ones that I took before my phone died, of Bernie and Neil working out. OK I’ve got something to add now. At night I went out on a date. It was with a guy named Eduardo. I think I’m gonna delete my third photo, of Neil on the curl up machine, to add the photo from tonight.  I’m a little nervous about writing this because I gave Eduardo my blog business card. So, hello Eduardo! I suppose this is becoming my way of communicating with people now. We went out to eat at a restaurant called Whitey’s. Unfortunately, I wasn’t really that hungry again. I guess this is just another example of the cancer ruining my life, because I KNOW that I would have enjoyed my food a lot more if I’d been actually hungry. What I ordered was the Paco’s Tacos, which included walleye. I also ordered a sour beer that the server mentioned to us, that I failed to write down. so I guess that throws in the fact that the traumatic brain injury ruining my memory might also be what’s making me be a little less than happy. At least when I went, I was able to wear my green eyeshadow that matched my green shirt, which my mom had bought me from “a company called uplift that makes the desk I just bought.”
