Winning trivia with Ezra's dad Josh, Liam, Lily, Mattie and Ezra

April 1, 2023: Well all I wrote yesterday was “haven’t written yet,” because I was way too tired to do this. Also all I did was publish the photo from my phone and called it “winning trivia,” which happened. Well yesterday I had my meds at 6:45 in the morning with three cheese and crackers, adding up to about 10-15g of fat. I also scrolled through my Instagram from before the accident a bit. I also learned from Liam that he’s staying at the house where they’re watching the dog/pet situation, so he made a plan to pick me up to go to trivia since I’m not allowed to drive with even one beer and I couldn't spend the night. Yesterday I also updated my resume on Indeed, with the information from my one I edited with mom. Then mom came over and she organized my flowers a bit and put one of the bunches in the glass from Hannah. We also decided not to email Lunds back about wanting to work there. Then we signed up for a Spanish class on Tuesday nights at 6pm. Excited about that, especially because I feel like I might want to do some kind of job with translation. Then mom helped me clean the snow off my car. Then mom left and I drove over to Papa’s to have lunch and chill til Mom was going to take my to Liam’s. For lunch we had quesadillas. There also I applied for some jobs on Indeed, just translation jobs. I thought Papa knew I did that but apparently he didn’t. Also had my antidepressant at 12pm exactly and noted that I last ate at 1pm. Papa also gave me a new external hard drive to carry around so he can keep the one I had been using for actual occasional backups and storage. I also learned that I should wait two hours before and after taking my meds without eating, so I had my meds at 4:20pm with cheese and wheat thins. Then I went back to my house to meet up with mom to have her take my over to Liam’s, and frankly we had a little bit of an argument on the way over, which I didn’t write down anything about. It was basically just that she thought I should have edited my resume before applying. Then I was pretty upset before trivia, and she told me to try not to cry there. When we got to Burning Brothers I tried not to. At Burning Brothers I actually took two pictures, one when we got our food and one when we won. Frankly I didn’t write down much from my time at Burning Brothers but it was a good time. What I drank was two Tulip beer cups, which are half pints so I could have two of them, just because I like to taste more flavors. I had two that I’d tried before, the Roasted Coffee Ale, which I learned does have caffeine, and the tart cherry sour, which might be my favorite. As for the actual trivia, there were two answers I helped with quite a bit. One of them was asking about an island nation by New Zealand with four letters, and I got that it was Fiji. Woohoo my geography knowledge helped out this time. And I also knew that “white house” in Spanish was Casablanca, which was the hint for the name of a TV show. Nice that I got to use my Spanish a bit, because I even also told Liam and Lily that I was considering jobs as a translator now. I admit that I did tell Liam I’d had a bit of a fight with my mom, and he just said that he was glad I wasn’t pissed off with him. Well as for the food they did have a food truck this time, the Signature on Wheels, their normal food truck. I got the cubano, which was pulled pork with gruyere and pickles. Got fries too, and the pickles with the fries were the best part. I asked Liam about getting more pickles for the rest of my fries, but didn’t end up doing it. We also talked to one guy from the team that usually wins, and he said “super happy we got beat by you guys.” They got second place, and the guy, MJ, said that they got 49 points, whereas we got 50. So I guess my Fiji answer helped a bit, because they had something else written down, Bali I think, and crossed it out. The total number possible is 55 and they said that the highest we’ve ever scored is 52, when the other team got 54 that time. Yesterday some people also asked my name, and I usually just pointed to my Valleyfair jacket, that said Anya on the chest. So I’m glad I wore that jacket. Well at the end of the night Liam and I went to a person from his work’s house and took care of their dog. It was a mutt named Walter and we gave it a bit of a walk and gave it some treats. I also talked to Liam a bit more at the end and told him that I was considering applying for translator jobs, and my mom thinks I should have waited to apply til I edited my resume better. I also told him that she was afraid I would ruin the night by being in a bad mood, and he told me that I didn’t at all.
