Waffles with Hannah and Burning Brothers with Alex, Lily, Liam

Feb. 25, 2023: Well I had a not great early morning with mom. She came over and we didn’t take a photo. We did figure out all my prescriptions though. Today I drove to Oxendales and bought more oat milk and some strawberry yogurt in the morning before mom came over. Mom also gave me my new bed sheet/quilt, which is nice and colorful. We sorted through my contacts and deleted a duplicate contact for her and changed the address of my work and put some of my friends under favorites. She also helped clean my room, which was less than fun. We also figured out all my Lexapro and Ritalin prescriptions, and plan to have me pick up both of them tomorrow. The plan is for me to pick up the Ritalin on the way home from Liam’s. She also helped me get my camera stuff sorted and charged for when I do the solo shoot for Theatre in the Round, and I charged one more battery for one of my bodies. I also played a little Phase 10 with mom, five phases that I made up or looked up online. Then Hannah came over shortly after noon and we had a much better time. Hannah told me that she’s actually applying for some other jobs that are more in her field, which her dad is helping her with/wants her to do. She also told me that I live in a nice location with lots that’s walkable. I also told her about how Joe came into Lunds the other day, and told her I had a much better second day than first day. She also suggested making French bread at some point, so like bread saturated with eggs and milk. I also learned that Caroline is doing the Birkie today. Too bad because last year we had an amazing time at the Birkie and this year Caroline can’t do anything fun because of med school and studying. Hannah also suggested we go to Half Price Books some time, and I suggested the one that Talia works at. We made waffles, which are in this photo, and ate them with blueberries and blueberry jam. We also added to my 2023 playlist and listened to it on her phone on my JBL speaker. She also had me drink the Alghazaleen tea that she read the name of in Arabic from the package. She also said that she’d kill to have a dishwasher like I do, and she had me use it for the first time ever. I’ve already unloaded it now, and am about to go to Liam’s just writing up the notes that I have so far. Got 4000 even today too, just walking out to my car in the hallway. Okay it’s the next day. I couldn’t do mine last night because I’d left my computer in my car and it froze so much that it needed to be plugged in. Liam and Lily don’t have Macs so didn’t have a charger there. Last night we did not win anything in trivia. I did know the answer to one question though, which was asking about the East coast newspaper whose motto is “Democracy dies in darkness.” I knew it was the Washington Post, and I was right. Thank you, journalism school. I was right to bring my whole med box and the coffee mug to Liam’s. Have it all at home now. For going to Liam’s I changed into black leggings and the Grumpy’s shirt that Hannah had bought me for Christmas. I also sent her a photo of me in it. When going over to Liam’s I was gonna be a couple minutes later than anticipated, so he just had me meet them at Burning Brothers. Then Liam said he’d drive my car home so I could have a drink, which is what we did. I had the pineapple mango sour, since Hannah had asked me about trying a sour there since she knows I like them. They didn’t have a food truck like they normally do, so we just got popcorn and chips with machismo spicy chipotle salsa. Also wrote down that at least my watch was fully charged before Liam’s, which is good because I didn’t actually bring my watch charger from my car into the house this time. Tragically I didn’t know most of the questions about movies and things like that, just the Washington Post question I knew and helped on. I definitely felt good to drive after one beer, but then I had a second one because I wasn’t driving. I had the roasted coffee ale that the bartender recommended. Liam also showed me a new playlist he’d made called 4 AKM, which is literally made for me. Made me question whether I know my friends’ middle names. I mean mine’s obvious because it’s in my email, I think Liam’s is a J and Hannah’s is a C for Christine. I also learned that Alex works at High Tempo ski shop. I told them about my first shift at Lunds, and said the second shift was much much better. Then we had leftover pizza. I think I had the vegetable one. I also randomly fell asleep on the couch without even trying to.
