Volunteering at Methodist and Open Door

March 26, 2024

Yesterday I did a lot of volunteering. I had a woman named Laurie took the photo of me at the desk the food shelf at Methodist church, which was taken when I was working the computer. Ya know, I’ve just gotta say that based on my photos it looks like I’m doing fantastic. I'm kind not doing so hot. Cathy was the other one on the computer, and she was in a BeReal I took. At night I went to Open Door for their 4:15-7pm night shift. There, I was not allowed to use the computer because of past mistakes I’d made, probably because of the brain injury. Lee was working on the computer in my BeReal picture. I have to admit that I’m having a hard time caring about anything right now, and I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t feel like I’m working for my money, I don’t feel like I’m living in my own house, or that I’m suffering from a cancer I cannot even come close to controlling. Unfortunately, that was actually a thought that I had and wrote down on the 27th, not the 26th. I’m not sure why I didn’t feel up to writing this yesterday, but I figure this project is one of the few things in my life that I actually fully control, so I want to keep it going.
