Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024: Methodist, grandma, and Spanish Meetup

Updated: Feb 9

I kind of wrote this yesterday, but I wanted to look over it one more time before publishing (adding this note on the 11th lol)

Methodist morning, grandma afternoon, and Hablamos Pues with Miguel and Francisco at night. I kind of wrote this yesterday, but I wanted to look over it one more time before publishing (adding this note on the 11th, lol)

Again, for my morning meds I had like three pieces of bacon, and toast with butter and Talia’s jam.

Then, I went in to volunteer at Methodist. I believe they scheduled me “in the basement” distributing food, not working at the front desk, which is where I usually do my translation. But I got there and learned that three Spanish-speakers had called in sick, so I was needed upstairs anyways.

Afterwards, Papa took me over to grandma’s house, while he went to go receive some acupuncture with the same lady who does mine. In fact, I believe that I’m the reason he found her! Grandma and I played a game of Scrabble together, and I believe I received a grilled cheese sandwich too.

Afterwards, I decided to go to a Spanish meetup event, which was cool because we hadn't attended the regular one for this week, which was on Monday night, I believe. I ended up sitting with Miguel and Francisco, who we know from the usual weekly meetups. Anyways, at night Miguel and I played like three games of Jenga together at the brewery, two of which I believe he won.
