Tuesday, 03.25.25: Getting a transfusion and Mayo visit + food

Martes, 03.25.26

Me in the car on the way to Mayo, me posing for a photo with a woman named Jacqueline who was offering pictures with her falcon to viewers, and a group pic of Papa and I with Miguel and Kurt, who I’ve seen there for months off and on.

Today we got a nice photo with Kurt, the Holocaust survivor who volunteers at Mayo, at 11:38 am. Then, we went to get my blood transfusion, since I had some number that was “below 7” I think. According to my dad, it was my red blood cell count. I’m also vaguely excited for Kurt to move up to Minneapolis, even though it means he’ll be leaving his volunteering at Mayo. I also grabbed a photo with a woman who was carrying around a falcon, which is kinda less cool than Kurt, who survived the Holocaust, even though he was very young.
