Trivia with Josh, Alex, Ezra, Mattie

April 22, 2023: Alright this morning the first thing I did this morning was Zack with the TBI called me at like 8:30am. We talked for about 23 minutes about our lives, and he said he’s actually back in Utah now, which is exciting. I also told him a lot about my life and my hope for the Mississippi Market job and he said that had finally passed the driver’s assessment, and thanked me for telling him all about it. The reason he called me was actually asking about applying for disability and I just told him that my mom had dealt with all of that. So he said maybe he’ll reach out to her. I also had my meds stupidly early this morning, way before 5am. At least I had them with a cup and a half of oat milk though for about 12g fat. I also went over to Talia’s at 11am, or 11:05am actually, and I showed her the yearbook for a few hours. She also helped me fill in some blanks in the part two that I’m working on now, and tragically I’d left my notebook at home so I didn’t take any notes the whole time. Tragically I also forgot to take a photo with them, and I even told Talia that after I left. While I was there I at least thanked Kenzie for the Trader Joe’s chips and Talia also gave me some dumplings, so that was my lunch. I had them pretty early so I could do the meds early too. When I got home I did end up taking the meds exactly 12 hours after I’d taken the morning ones with three Ritz crackers and cheeses. For trivia tonight Liam and Lily are out of town so I’m just gonna do it with Mattie, Ezra, maybe Alex, though he hasn’t been replying to any of us. Ezra is going to pick me up around 6pm for it, and then he’ll take me home afterwards too. So no sleeping over anywhere tonight. I mean I do have my meds for tomorrow just in case I do, but I don’t think I will. Not even gonna bring my computer either. Oh and in the few hours before Ezra picked me up, I did my meds and practiced ton of Spanish on Tandem. I even learned that the way to say traumatic brain injury is lesión cerebral traumática, which is better than daño cerebral, although that’s still accurate. Oh and I also connected with JollyJenny who I knew before the accident from Discord too. She said that Prodigy had told her about Tandem too but she was too “scared” to use it. I have been using it though, it’s what I did for all these hours before trivia. I even did a video call from Tandem, with a guy from the Dominican Republic. So yeah that’s the way I spent my afternoon. Practicing Spanish and eating the Trader Joe’s chips that I had thanked Kenzie for earlier today. I also messaged the Mississippi Market contact I’d been texting and I asked her about not getting a call yet, which Mom told me to do on a call I had with her today. Then I called the store too and they told me the contact had left the store recently but they took my name and number at least, so at least she’ll know that I called. I also sorted things out with Mattie and Ezra a bit, and now I’m just waiting for Ezra to come. Not gonna finish this til after trivia tonight. I’m also quite a bit hungry and it looks like Burning Brothers doesn’t have a food truck tonight unfortunately. We’ll see what happens. Oh well, Mattie actually had already made Vietnamese chicken earlier in the day, and rice and bun sauce, and then we had Vietnamese air fryer chicken and rice and egg roll sauce and a stove top pizza thing. At trivia I also noticed that Ira was not hosting like usual, and he was replaced with a guy named Marcus. We did not do well in trivia. There weren’t any questions that I like really knew. Also we were missing Lily, who knows a ton about current things and is an anchor for the team. After trivia, we also stopped at McDonald's to get coffee for Mattie and I also got a Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry. We also after trivia went over to Liam’s where Alex was house sitting for him and watched Nathan For You, which I’d never heard of before or seen. While I was there I also learned that Mattie’s birthday is the day after mine, March 18. She agreed that it was good to have a birthday even in the week of St. Patrick’s Day, and congratulated me for having the actual day as my birthday. I didn’t write down that much from the night. At least I got the photo, even though it was just a BeReal that I took at trivia.
