Let’s go... this morning I had my meds around 8:30 am with a quick bites protein pack with 13g fat that I had bought a few weeks ago and rescued from my apartment fridge the other day. First of all, I renewed my photo website for another year, attaching it to my new credit card too. Then, Mom, Papa and I ran over to my apartment to pick up more stuff to move over here. We grabbed one of my dressers and a bunch of hangers, clothes, and notebooks. Shortly after, Papa and I ran back over to grab some more, and this time we ran into the building manager KC. We had a wonderful talk with him, and I reassured him I wasn’t moving out because I hated him.
Later on, my mom and I went out to eat at the Tipsy Steer. Something very interesting happened when she asked me who I’d been there with before. I literally just searched “tipsy steer” in my Wix Owner app on my phone, which allows me to search my blog. Then, I saw the post come up from October 15, 2022 when I went there with Nicole. I think I’ve been there once with Hannah once more recently, but I failed to make a post with “tipsy steer” in the title that time. At any rate, this time I wan’t really hungry, so I just ordered some pretzels with gouda dip, and also got a white wine pineapple flavored slushy.
I’ve also succeeded in pretty much completely taking over my parents’ old closet, which is now filled with my clothes, and even has a bookcase in the back for storage of some square shelving units. Looking through all my clothes, I found one sweater that I felt like had belonged to Mattheas, and I messaged him a picture and asked. He confirmed that yes it was his, and I kind of want to give it back even though he told me I could just keep it. I don’t really have any need of a large black hoodie, and I’m also slowly realizing that I have too many clothes anyways.
Also at night, I was able to take my meds with two little Trader Joe’s yogurts for 12g fat. The other thing I did at night was I rewrote a bit of the speech I might one day give people in connection with the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance. My edits involved adding a mention of the blog I have started running now (this!), which for some reason had been left out in the last version. I also emailed Will from the JCC and told him I'd be interested in exploring setting up personal training sessions at the gym again. I warned him about still recovering from the lower back surgery, and said that I knew the best way to work on many physical challenges is to work out in a controlled environment. Now, at night, I'm listening to my Alexa play music, which is another thing we picked up from my apartment.
