Grace and Gulid doing my blood draw!!
Grace and Gulid doing my blood draw!!

Today, I got up and we played our games.

I went to get my blood drawn first thing, before eating.

⁃ Later, for breakfast: I had close to my usual: pancakes with bacon and a little avocado, because I couldn’t finish the bacon at first.

⁃ 11:45: I fell asleep while doing Connections.

⁃ 11:50: I was napping in bed

⁃ 2:40 got up: we played a shared game of Phase 10 on our phones.

⁃ 4:00 pm I went for a very cold walk with Rosie and Papa, which makes me think about how much I would hate to own my own dog.

Today, after the long ordeal of the blood draw, which took hours, I went back home and slept a bit.

They had a lot of trouble finding a useful vein today. The clinic has no hot packs and no hot water today for a hot pack. We improvised by getting water from the Keurig coffee machine for a hot pack. Eventually it took nearly two hours, and three Keurig-heated hot packs to pop up a vein and get enough blood. The technician was Gulid today, not Shirola, who I believe doesn’t work there any more now.

Now, for dinner it’s going to be cheese and olive pizza, which isn’t done yet. My dad already dumped bunch of hot chocolate on the ground, so I’ll just avoid eating that stuff. Having a different hot chocolate now, anyways!

Dinner is going to be cheese and olive pizza as well.
