Talia over Kids Book puzzle

January 5, 2024

Ok, there’s a bit of this I wrote much earlier today. Let’s copy and paste! This morning, I decided to not go to my yoga class since I started feeling a little bit nauseous right after I started eating the yogurt to take my meds with. I actually ended up throwing up the yogurt and the meds too, so we decided this would just be a ‘no -medication morning.” In a way, it feels fine to do that since it seems like they’re gonna take me off the medication that I’m on soon anyways. Then, at like 1pm, I talked to Mikayla, and the first thing I told her was that I’d planned to be a little more “on top of my own life” the next time we met, so I had asked to meet at a coffee shop, As it was, we just met at my dad’s house since I’m not in great shape right now.

She also asked if I wanted to take a short break from looking for work, given my medical situation. I told her that I definitely would like to, though I was also able to explain to her a bit more of the type of work I’d eventually like to do. To sum it up, I’ve kind of decided that my hypothetical job would have to involve helping native Spanish -speakers in some capacity. Basically, what I’m doing at the food shelves is a PERFECT example of what I’m looking for..... I’d just like to find a way to get like a 10-hour-a-week job doing something like that. She said that officially she’d file for a “two week break,” with the understanding it could be extended for a few months as well.

At night, the plan was for grandma to cone over and hang out. Fortunatly, it was also the night that Talia decided to move back in, which made it much more enjoyable. We had some wonderful talks about living alone versus moving in with someone, and then we joined grandma to work on this puzzle full of book covers. I got one or two of them done, but it actually turned out to be not a super easy puzzle. Also I had done my night meds at 8:20pm with some of Papa’s fish and mashed potatoes.
