Ok, let's see what happened today. Meds at 7:44 am with yogurt. Probably should have done them earlier, but I wasn't sure what the night would look like then. Later in the morning, I decided to drive over to Quixotic Coffee. There, I had a good time and also took a selfie I used for a different site that did a better job of showing my tattoo. At Quixotic, I had the eggnog Bourbon Latte, which I asked for and did NOT have alcohol in it. It was quite good and had also been recommended to me by the staff. There, I largely worked on organizing. One thing I did was I filled out my whole calendar of medication times from the last week or so, based on screenshots from my phone. I also signed on to Wix, the site I use to manage my blog, and learned that www.anya-photo-of-the-day is an available URL. I'm not about to buy it, but it's cool to know. After that, I decided to go home to my actual apartment to pick things up and drop them off. I dropped off some coasters I'd acquired recently, and printed out the last month of photos into my Anya's Photo of the Day binder, which is binder #3. I also looked back at #1 and took pictures of the first five pages, which are NOT my first five photos of the day ever, just the first five I decided to print and put in the binder. The five I took snaps of are from September of 2022, and they're all photos at Fogo with hostesses, except for one with Mom on her balcony. At home, I also decided to photograph some more stuff I had there and grab a few more earrings.
Then I went back to Papa's house. We've decided that I'm gonna stay there til we fly to Utah, and then hopefully be able to move back home after we get back. Anyway, I joined a Kelly family Zoom call for a few minutes, where we talked to Kerry a bit too. They're already in Moab, where we're gonna be going in a day or two. The coolest question I had for them was asking how often the two of them go up to Moab. I forget the exact words of the answer, but they certainly had one. The other random cool thing on that call was that I got to show off my biopsy scar.
Then, we had our Christmas with presents, with Grandma, Bill & Jodi, Talia, Mom and Papa on a Zoom call with us all. It's kinda funny how we've had COVID for many years and people have certainly missed things for it, but this is kind of the first time we've had an event like Christmas with someone on a Zoom call. I feel like it worked pretty well though, and we even opened his presents for him, with him there reacting, which was much better than a phone call would have been.
We ate dinner too, and fortunately, I'd taken my meds quite early, at 3:30 pm, so I was free to eat anything. We had lasagna, which I didn't write down so I just had to walk to the living room past midnight to ask Mom about what it was.
We also did presents. It's interesting, because just yesterday I'd texted Liam with some suggestions for gifts for me, and today half of them ended up being taken care of by my family's presents. It's almost like they know me. I got some pens and hard-cover notebooks, as well as a nice long-sleeved shirt and some bags to carry groceries in like you have to use at Trader Joe's. I was also excited about a few of the presents that I gave too, like my family jigsaw puzzle for Mom and my custom mug with photos on it for Talia. We decided we could potentially do some cards tomorrow at our brunch, and didn't do any tonight. At the very end of the night, Talia and I were talking to Mom about countries we've been to, and all three of us have been to nine so far, we think. They're different countries, but it's just interesting that they add up to the same number for the three of us. We think it's nine, though we might have missed something for someone.
