Ok, I’ll write this one on the day of. It’s even before midnight, barely. Today I went to my Monday night Spanish meetup at Mojo Coffee Gallery, and afterwards I went out with them to a place called Station 280 where there was more food and drinks. After that, we played some games, which was the point of going there. I know I played a few rounds of Shuffleboard. Unfortunately I seem to have lost my little notes notebook tonight, so I can’t tell you who I played with. I think it was Francisco, a guy named Jason, and Osvaldo, but I’m really unsure. At least one or two of them were Colombian, definitely including Francisco, who’s from Cali in Colombia. I took the photo with Francisco earlier in the night when we talked about some potential job options. I think he does some kind of temporary work, and he recommended the organizations Atlas Staffing, Talent Masters Staffing, Labor Solutions, and Twin City Staffing. I also explained to him that I’m just looking for some stuff to fill my time but cannot earn too much money. He insisted that might be possible with organizations like that. At the end of the night, I also gave him a ride home. Honestly I only did it because I didn’t have anything else better to do with my time and I appreciated some of the conversations we’d had. Let’s jump back to the rest of the day real quick. Today I also got a blood test and went to physical therapy. The blood test meant that I’m gonna have to drive down to Mayo tomorrow to get some transfusion. That’s really unfortunate because I was quite looking forward to being able to do my Tuesday morning volunteering at Methodist, and then try a new place with a guy named Terry, who my mom kew from the Star Tribune. Oh, and late at night I also took my night meds at 11:53pm with some leftover Indian food and also about a tablespoon of olive oil just in case there wasn’t enough fat in the food.
