Spanish with Jac and Elena or Avery

This was the 8th. When I was putting my photos in, I was able to replace the photo of Eduardo with a photo of someone holding a phone where they were showing examples of things in Spanish. This really does show that Spanish IS the thing that’s making me happy, not anything else. Today the meetup at Mojo was cancelled because some other people were there or something. It was replaced with a meeting at Bauhaus Brewery, where I ordered a “seedless summer,” which was a “salted watermelon sour beer.” I was also careful to not drive right after drinking it. I finished the beer at like 7:18pm, and decided I was going to go home at 8:10pm. Kind of grateful that I can just screenshot the times that various things happen, and then I get write on top of the screenshots on my phone, which is what I did for the time I last drank. Let’s see... the other photos I have are of the table, with the guy whose name I think was Cole looking kind of towards the camera, and the photo of someone on their phone showing something about the states that have the highest quantity of people who abuse alcohol. That came up only because we were playing a guessing game about which state we thought had the biggest problem with alcohol abuse. I guessed Louisiana, and I feel like the “correct” answer was something like Michigan or Wisconsin, which no one guessed. I’m also not quite sure who I have in my middle photo. I know the girl to the left was named Jac, which I asked her how to spell, and the girl to her right is either someone named Elena or someone named Avery. I wrote down the names of Jac, Elena, Owen and Avery as the people who were in our conversation, so I know those people were there at least. The other thing that happened was I deleted my earlier crappy BeReal to post that photo, which I titled “con la anciana que no conoce BeReal,” because I joked that the girl who’s 31 was “anciana,” or “ancient” (aka older than me.) (lol). And all of this really does bring my back to the fact that SPANISH is what’s important to me these days, nothing else.
ANYWAYS let’s jump back to the rest of the day. Today I had occupational therapy with Jessica in the morning, and then afterwards I went over to have my last physical therapy session with Kari. I’ve quite enjoyed working with Kari, in a huge part because I kind of have had a habit of using her like a secondary therapist. Anyways, let’s get to the night time. I went to Mojo quite a bit early, thinking that I’d just read the book club book there if I was there well before anyone else got there. I love having the book club book to work on. Today I read through the first chapter of it, underlining the words that I’d have to look up later. It kind of gives me a nice project to work on if I’m just in a coffee shop or something. And having and enjoying this makes me want to read future books en español again. Whatever the next book club book is, I’m going to start it much sooner. I think I assumed because the book was small I could just fly through it, but I had been forgetting that it’s entirely written en español, which kind of leads me back to the thought that Spanish is really what I’m passionate about right now.
Anyways, then once I’d arrived back at home, I had my meds at 9:18pm, which was also coincidentally the same exact time that was two hours after I had my last sip of my salted watermelon sour. I know that having an alcoholic drink doesn’t count as “food,” but I just kind of like being able to have things that makes me “have to do something,” like really just able to set alarms and follow them. Even though I place some of the restrictions on myself, that’s ok. It’s kind of what you have to do when you don’t have to work for any of your money, too. WOW I got this all in here actually on “one page.” And I’m not quite finishing my snack pack of food for my meds because it was something like 16g of fat for the entire package. Well, I got it all in, and I guess the only thing to add is that I took a shower at night, tho I'm generally questioning whether I need to include info like that in my posts at all.
