Alright, I just have to say outright that I’m at a real low point. The cool part of my day was attending a Spanish language meetup at Mojo Coffee in Northeast. I failed to set an alarm to get ready and go, so I was like 20 minutes late. What that really taught me was that I desperately need to rely on my alarms at all times. At the meetup I talked to a guy named Mike when I first got there, and then we joined a large group conversation with William, Jose and Jack, who are in the photo. Sitting next to me were two Argentinians, Mijaeil and Diana, who are married. Today I didn’t really talk about my blog a lot, but at the end when talking to Mijaeil, whose name is Russian even though he’s not, I brought it up and he told me that he’d already read it from some time I’d given it out the other week, and he liked it. In the bottom left of the photo I took of our table talking you can see the edge of my notes notebook. I don’t feel like I did a great job of taking notes today. I literally only have two pages, and the second one is entirely the Spanish meetup. After the meetup, I drove home and had two pieces of cod with the right amount of fat. I did that at 8:30 pm, the same time I’d done it in the morning, when I had my meds with two slices of avocado toast.
I think here I’m writing less because I’m so low. The days when I have almost two pages of typed notes are generally much better days. Today I learned that Diana is a psychologist and Mijaeil is an engineer. They came here three years ago, and lived in Phoenix for a while. I tried to remember the address I used to live at in Phoenix, and couldn’t really recall that, even though I felt like it was something on 6th avenue.
Oh my goodness, I just realized that I never mentioned that I had my first session of physical therapy today with a woman named Kari, at an outpatient facility of HCMC. After doing my session, we stopped in to the Minneapolis JCC gym to pick up my green bag with shampoo and toiletries, which is I forgot the other day. They literally had it at the front desk. Going back to Kari... We also set up like six future appointments that are roughly once a week for psychical therapy. She gave my like two pages of exercises too, which I'm going to dive in to because I desperately want my body to work again.
