Shopping and Sushi with Diego and Lisa

Ah well, today I have yet another day where if you just look at the photos of the day that I took, the day looks kind of perfect. In the morning I went shopping at Cub for a bunch of groceries. What happened with that was the day before Easter, I had told my dad that I’d “wait til tomorrow to run to the store,” but then the store was closed on Easter and I couldn’t go. As a result, I went today. While there, I bought a bunch of new makeup too. I also just have to say that the other week when I was making a “list of things that matter” for my therapist, the first item I put on the list was “makeup,” and she questioned whether it was really that important. Today I decided that going back to that thought, makeup really can be that important because when you’re depressed and you don’t care about anything, you don’t care about your appearance either. Today I put on eyeliner for the first time in weeks, and that felt significant. I also bought a kind of significant amount of new makeup, including another pressed powder palette of eyeshadow. I already had the green “fresh” palette and the purple “plum” palette, and today I bought the pink/tan “blush” palette, all of which are from the brand ColourPop Cosmetics. What happened was I went shopping this morning, and when I was checking out, the cashier (whose name I vaguely remember might have been Ajul, which I asked him how to pronounce) commented that he liked the way my eyeshadow matched my earrings. I told him that was intentional. 

Let’s get to the night... Diego messaged our massive Spanish group chat that there was a movie playing that he wanted to see, and I decided to go just because I wanted to do something at night. It was decided that we’d meet up at Momo sushi before the film, so Diego and I, and another girl whose name I think was Lisa. I admit I had to message Diego later to ask that because I didn't write it down or remember that.
