Selfie, Yoga with Elizabeth/Suzy and Hannah at Hola Arepa

July 12, 2023: Meds at 6:43am this morning with a bananas & cream yogurt and also strawberry cream one for 12g of fat total. Also decided to wear my Make A Wish shirt to yoga. We’ll see it in a picture later. Also had half a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon at like 9am, just so I’m not so hungry during yoga and therapy. Never-mind no therapy. So I went to the pool right after my yoga class, and then I took a nice shower. I also grabbed a great photo with the yoga teacher Elizabeth (a sub) and her mom Suzy, who was also in the class. I’m realizing right now that the photo ended up a little blurry, even though I tried to make the lighting good by being by the window. So that’s why I also threw in my selfie of the day. Because the purpose of the shirt succeeded, and I was able to talk to the two of them about volunteering at Make A Wish a Spanish-language airport greeter at the end of July. I also figured out what time I’m gonna be meeting Hannah. We’re gonna be meeting bout 4:30pm and hopefully eating soon so I can take my meds at like 7 or 8. It’ll be over the 12 hour time frame, but better than trying to squeeze it in before when we’re gonna be meeting a bit earlier in the day. Ok I got back, and I just got my computer back from Papa’s house, where I’d left it during the friendship date with Hannah. We went to Hola Arepa, a few blocks from her house, and it was great! What I did was I had the Jackfruit al pastor arepa, and also the desert heat drink set to extra spicy. Unlike Hannah, I like spicy drinks. We also started the night with a bag of chips with three hot sauces, which were the spiciest ones. We liked them a lot. The other cool thing was that I succeeded in asking her a bunch of the random questions I had written down to ask her. First of all, I asked about "what was the thing teachers yelled at us about on this 8th grade trip," which was boys and girls hugging each other. Also, the weird talk our history teacher gave us was in 11th grade, and also, Hannah agreed that she’d like to get her toenails done with me after the Florida trip. I also told her a bunch of stuff I’d written down to remember to tell Whitney, since tragically I did not achieve therapy today. Oh and then I told her about the amazingly successful interview I had today at 1pm, where I decided the bilingual learning center job sounds amazing. Stupid I didn’t write about this earlier, but they basically said that I’d applied for two positions, and described both of them to me. Honestly, the communications coordinator position sounds better than the before school program one, partly because it sounds like it might actually use some of my degree, and also because they said that one might include a bit more Spanish. They were also super impressed with my master’s degree in mass communication, and even also asked for some references tonight, which I sent them too, including Veronica from Open Door, who I’d asked to be a reference a few weeks ago. Oh and then once I got home from stuff with Hannah, I also took my meds at 8:30pm with two of the same kind of yogurts again. It was over the 12 hour idea, but better to do it that way than not be able to eat during dinner time.
