Sam, Yoga with Jordan, and Liam and Mattie watching Aau’s Song

June 2, 2023: Alright a lot has already happened and it’s only 7:30pm. So this morning first thing in the morning I woke up and took my meds at 5:01am, and then I made two eggs for 10g fat with some hot sauce, and I video chatted Sam for 45 minutes, since he was up from his work shift. I also got to ask him some of the questions that my therapists had suggested that I ask, about the favorite class in high school (which was math!) and childhood.

Then after my talk with Sam I fell asleep for another two hours, at which point it was time to wake up to go to my barre class. Weirdly I noticed the highway was way faster for going to the gym, since it took under 10 minutes. Then I did barre class with Jordan. It was way busier than the barre class with Debi had been, with a full room. Then as soon as that was done I grabbed a photo with Jordan and went immediately to my personal training session with Will. Personal training was good too. I learned that Will is actually half Philipino, which I never would have guessed. I also learned his girlfriend is named Casey.

We noticed that my left leg is a lot stronger than it was, too. When I was doing some leg extensions, it was actually easier on the left side than the right side. Then I left training 5 minutes early to get ready for my interview, but I didn’t even need the extra time, since I took the highway home again and left at 10:59 and got there at 11:06. I even had time to do a quick Zoom call with mom to figure out some stuff to say in the interview. Then I did the Seward interview, which turned out to be a group interview, not one-on-one, and I was in the session with 3 or 4 other people. For the “reason I want to work there” question I even mentioned the fact that I used to volunteer at Sabathani across the street from their Friendship store, and I also mentioned the Spanish stuff. That was the point at which they told me that they have an “interpreting credit” you can apply for, which actually brings up your pay by .25 or .50 an hour. They said that for the next steps they’d send everyone’s questionnaires to the hiring manager, and we should hear back in some time from the coming days to the coming weeks. She did confirm she’d gotten my questionnaire too, at least.

Then I went over to my dad’s house and told him about the interview, and also talked about the possible Nokomis book clubs a bit, which is when I handed him the flyer and he said there was actually one that he’d be interested in going to too. At that point I took like a two hour nap because I was oddly tired. Then, since Liam had told me I could be over by 5pm, I did that. I was kind of afraid that there’d be food right away, so I took my meds at 3:01pm.

Then at Liam’s we spent a while repotting some of his plants, and then drove Lily over to a buy-nothing group where she’s sorting some stuff. Then later in the night we figured out that Cas and Ben couldn’t come because one of them was sick and the other just decided not to. But much later in the night Mattie and Ezra did come by, which is where my photo comes from. I had a really good talk with Mattie and told her all about Sam and showed her pictures too. She also told me the story of how she and Ezra met a while ago and how their relationship started. Now it’s stupidly almost 1am and I’m exhausted again. Just drove myself home a bit after midnight.
