Alright, I'm just now at night realizing that I didn't do one of these for yesterday, even though I went out for coffee and a snack with Talia and one of her ex-Starbucks coworkers. We didn't even take a photo together, so I'm not going to try to include one of that event here.

Ok, I'll just skip to today now then. Today I went out to a coffee shop with Mom, actually the one across the street from Nolo's. Hannah worked at 3 pm so we could have stopped in, but didn't. What I did there was I finished up my translation of the Mayo article that was written about me. Getting to the very end of the article, I realized that a lot of the things that were written about me at the time are currently no longer true. So what I did, instead of translating the end of the article, I wrote a new paragraph that explained why I wasn't translating the end of the article, "because I don't want my translations to be lies about my life." There were some statements in that article that I can just no longer accept, like 'Anya’s primary goal, and one that would be a step toward reclaiming her happiness, is going back to work. “It’s all I want to do.”' Also, the whole premise that the article is based on, that I want to "return to being happy," was never true because of how incredibly unhappy I was before my car crash, so there was nothing to "return to."

After the coffee shop, where I wrote the new "end" to the article in Spanish and posted it on lang-8 for corrections, we went back to Mom's house and finished a jigsaw puzzle that we had started months ago and never gotten around to completing.
