Pickleball, Canasta, Skating Lift Demonstration and Kerry at Fire

July 20, 2023: Alright so I didn’t do a word of this yesterday, and it’s the next day. Basically it was a day full of family events, as usual. In the morning I didn’t go on the walk because I had a Jessica appointment, and during that appointment I actually asked her for advice for someone beginning in occupational therapy, since my cousin Kallen is doing that. I should also mention that I took my meds at 7:49am with an apricot mango yogurt, and right before the appointment I did a JetPunk capitals quiz and I got 80% without looking anything up. Then we went over to the courts and played pickleball with Katie Ruth, Casey and Kane. At first I just practiced with mom and uncle Tom, but then I joined the three of them and it really felt like the first time I was actually playing pickleball. Katie was actually amazing, despite never having played before, since she does tennis. I was the worst but I still played ok. My mom told me that too, saying that I played pretty well. Then we went back to the cabin, and I played a game of Canasta with mom and Casey and Kerry. That was also fun, and I just took an extra BeReal of me and Kerry at the end. The lighting wasn’t good though. Nice enough I got mine on time yesterday, just of mom and Kirsten in the bedroom, so I got the extras again. I also had my lunch, which was leftover pork on a Portillo’s bun, and then Elianna from the Bilingual Learning Center also emailed me and asked for a few references too, and I was able to send them to her. Shortly after the game of Canasta I also learned a new game. It’s called Euchre, and I’ve seen it played before but had never played it. I liked it. Then again, I always like card games. Oh and then it was approaching dinner time so they lit another fire outside and Calvin struggled to light the fire but finally got it done. Around the fire, we ate dinner, which was just more leftovers from the week. The only random interesting thing that happened was I asked Eleanore about a sweater she was wearing, and she said it was a figure skating sweater and that Kane should learn how to do a figure skating lift with her. I actually did manage to get a picture of it, on one of my extra BeReals. Eleanore saw the picture and she said that her toes weren’t pointed enough. Oh well, I think I’m pretty much done.
