Feb. 20, 2023: Today I randomly found my watch charger that I’d thought I’d lost yesterday. It was just in my purse. No idea why I didn’t see it yesterday. It’s in my car now. Texted Liam that I found it. I also texted Maggie a bit this morning. Told her I was wearing my Fogo pants and shoes to my first thing at Lunds. At Lunds we just did administrative stuff. I worked with Isaac Plueger to do that and didn’t take a photo with him. I thought it might be weird to ask. This morning I paid my credit crd bill right away. It was like 350. I also had blueberry special K this morning, that I’d bought with Talia the other day. I also figured out what I’d wear to Lunds. It was my Fogo pants, Fogo shoes and the shirt I wore for Valentine’s Day. Mom helped me pick it out. I also found my resume document in inDesign. Then I went over to Papa’s to teach him Canasta and also ate lunch, which was spaghetti with white Ragu sauce. Honestly I’m very interested in playing Canasta with Hannah and her mom some time, and Papa too. I did tell Hannah that we played it and I taught him about as much as I know. Honestly playing Canasta was low key the highlight of my day, it’s a really good game and the scoring is really interesting too. I also asked Papa about whether he’d get a job some time soon. Also unfortunately Papa told me when to leave, which wasn’t great for my feeling of independence. I was on time though, thanks Papa. At Lunds the first thing we did download Dayforce, the software to have my schedule. I also asked most of my questions and found out they’ll give me two uniform shirts. They’re the black ones, not the tan ones that only cashier clerks wear. Because he said that he might want me to try being a cashier at some point, and he thinks the black ones are cuter too. I also wrote down my passwords that were created. Isaak also said that he’s been at this store for a year and with the store for about two years, and was a chef before. I didn’t ask where or what kind. He also talked a lot about how to call in sick and late and ask time off. Honestly I don’t plan on being sick or late, but we’ll see. Good to know. There’s short and long sleeved shirts and he said that the tattoo wasn’t a problem either. I did tell him that I was wondering what the heck I’d eat when work there because my last job gave me free food every day. He said they have the salad bar, which we get 25% off of, not the normal 10% that's off everything. He did say there were some social media needs, and I mentioned that I was qualified to do some of that sort of thing and used to be a communications coordinator. I did manage to tell him that I needed to keep my hours at 20 or below because of disability, and he said that wouldn’t be a problem. He also walked me around the store a bit and introduced me to people. I had my meds shortly after the interview was done at 3:51. I also told papa that I hit 3000 exactly at the end of walking around the store. I also made a plan to call mom later to figure out some Dayforce stuff. Then I also emailed Jordan from the JCC about finding a yoga class time. I also made a schedule to pick up Liam for mock trial practice on Sunday. Then Isaac realized he’d forgotten to give me my uniform shirts so I had to drive back to Lunds to pick them up. Two black shirts. Then I went home and called mom to figure out the W4 form and some scheduling stuff. I’m not asking time off yet, and only have four shifts scheduled. I’m ending at 5,029, mainly because of going back to Lunds to pick up the shirts. Because honstly 5k is my goal for days I don’t work anyways. I’m honestly a little bit curious if I’ll hit 10k on the first day I work an actual shift at Lunds. I’m also watching How I Met Your Mother now on Hulu, which Alex gave me his login to. Not a bad end to the night.
