Papa Canasta and trivia group and Sara, Micahjosiah and Jon at Jon’s house

June 3, 2023: The only important thing is that at the end of the night tonight Sara told me I was already making new friends and she really enjoyed talking to me. She’s the one in the far right photo. Lemme write through yesterday now. I had my meds at 7:02am with oat milk. I also re-read my photo from the day before. Then mom came over and she actually had my sign up for a Love Your Brain mindset thing, just Zoom calls. The options were yoga and the one I signed up for, and I chose this one because I’m already doing yoga. Then I showered! Then I went over to Papa’s house and we played a game of Canasta. I won by like 1000 points. I also took my meds, just so I’d be ready to eat something with Liam. I took them at 7:14pm with some not-oat milk. So about 12 hours apart from the morning ones. Then it was time to go to trivia with Liam. So I did that, and shockingly Liam’s brother Luke came too, with a bunch of friends. Funny enough most of his friends had actually gone to Nova, but they were a few years younger than me so I didn’t know any of them. Looking at the second to right photo, it was Ben, a bunch of Luke’s friends from Nova including Laura and Julia. At Burning Brothers I had a flight, so I could try a bunch of different beers without drinking too much. The ones I got were the O-Mango, the Kool Aid, the Lime Shandy, and the Saison. I also ordered a pizza from Burning Brothers since they didn’t have a food truck. It was the breakfast pizza, though I didn’t write that down and don’t have a photo of it. Then we went over to the house of one of the guys on the team that always wins. His name was John, and he lives alone, actually walking distance from Burning Brothers. A couple other people went there too, including Sara and Micahjosiah. I had the best conversation ever with Sara. I told her about feeling like I’d never make new friends after the accident, and I also showed her the Yearbook on my phone. I even showed her the message I sent Dr. Abeykoon on the Mayo portal on my phone. Too bad I didn’t get a photo with Sara, because then she said the comment that I started this with, which I actually wrote last night and didn’t publish. Last night the only stuff I did was the photos. Also, I should note that the regular host Ira was gone and he was replaced by a guy named Marcus, who people didn’t feel like was quite as good as Ira. At least I remembered to take a selfie of everyone last night, and then I got my two remaining BeReals at John’s house, since I’d gotten the one of Papa exactly on time. After John’s house, Liam and Lily and I walked back to their house, and I slept in the guest room.
