Open Door with their new wall

Kind of another failure on photos today. The only photo I have is one that I took at Open Door, where I volunteered at night. I admit that today I sort of forgot the stuff that I’d talked about with Talia last night, and fell into quite a bit of black and white thinking all day. At night, when I went to Open Door, the one productive thing that happened was the pantry operations manager Sean told me that he’d be willing to sit down and talk to me more about whichever mistakes they noticed from me on the computer. Frankly, I just want to know, partly so if I’m ever volunteering in a similar role anywhere else I can make sure to avoid those mistakes.

The other random notable thing is that between the last time I was there and today, Open Door got a new wall printed. I have quite a bit of their new purple wall in the one photo I have. Also about Open Door, I was really afraid that not letting me work on the computer would cut down the amount of Spanish I spoke too much. Because that’s really where I feel useful and needed. I’m hopeful that there might be away to do that again after the second time I sit down and talk to them about it. I told him that even though I didn't know exactly what the "mistake" was, I’m pretty confident whatever it was was a brain injury mistake, and he said that he was also sure that was the case. Now, I just need to sit down and talk to them again before a shift next week. Today I actually felt a bit useful, mainly because their other employee who speaks Spanish was off performing in a play tonight. Oh, and I took my morning meds with half an avocado, as I usually do now. At night, I had another good talk with Talia. I really deeply wish she were able to come to Florida with us. Today I spent most of the day having forgotten the stuff we talked about last night that had put me into such a decent mood. I wish I hadn't forgotten the contents of the conversation with Talia, because I'm sure I would have tried harder on photos if I'd remembered it.
