Open Door w/Wendy, Hannah w/Canasta, Spanish at Uptown Diner

May 30, 2023: Ok it’s 3am and I didn’t do this yesterday. Alright right away I had my meds at 8am with a cup and a half of oat milk from home. Then I went into Open Door for a 10am shift, which usually I can’t do on Tuesday mornings because of the Methodist food shelf. Wasn’t scheduled this week though and I have no idea why, so I went into Open Door. At Open Door I had the best conversation ever with Wendy, which is why I took a photo with her. I told her about Sam, wanting to make friends, and my plans with disability. I also talked to Sean for like half of that conversation, but I didn’t get a pic with him. Then after Open Door I weirdly didn’t go home all day until after Spanish at the end of the night. What I did instead was I drove over to Papa’s house, and I had my lunch, which was a leftover hamburger from our BBQ and Sriracha and ketchup. At the very end of my time at Papa’s, I also got an email from Seward Co-op that they’d like to do an interview on Friday on Zoom. I called mom to figure out what to say on the questionnaire, but she said to call her back when she could screen share. Haven't done that yet. Then I went over to Hannah’s house, and had a great conversation with her. I told her what an amazing time I’d had with her sister the other day, and we talked about my relationship situation. I’ve missed talking with Hannah. She did joke that I should let her know if I’d filled my quota of her for a month now, and I definitely haven’t. We took one pic when we were playing Canasta, and the second was one I sent to Sam, since I’d talked to him about her. Then lemme get to the last photo. Well basically the alarm rang to go to Spanish, and I left Hannah’s to do that. In the first class there was only one other person this time, and it was the person named Cat. So the three of us just hung out and talked for like an hour and a half. Then the second class happened, and at first I didn’t think we were gonna go out and eat, but then we ended up doing it. What I did was I actually had my night meds with the dinner, at 8:38pm, and I purposely didn’t eat all of it so it wouldn’t be too much fat. I even had messaged Papa a picture of the menu to try to figure out what to order, and we agreed the Gyro Omelet looked good as long as I didn’t eat the toast and hash browns. Also, I didn’t take a photo of us at the table because my teacher says that she thinks photos “rob her of her soul.” So I told her I was just taking a picture of the food on the table, and that can be one of my pics of the day. Stupidly I didn’t take a third BeReal yesterday even though I got the first one on time at Papa’s, I just took one with Hannah at 5ish, and then nothing at Spanish either, even though I was thinking about it. Ok, the rest of my notes are just random things about the people in my second Spanish class. I’m glad we went out though, good end to the last class. She did say she’ll be teaching Spanish 4 in person for the first time in the fall, and she thinks that I’d be ready for it.
