Mojo with Devlin and the Spanish group

February 19, 2024

Alright, I’m just writing this on the 20th before I go to my Spanish class. Last night, I attended the weekly Spanish meetup at Mojo Coffee. I ordered a single caipirinha and also some tacos, which had birria, steak and tripe. I sat with a guy named Devlin, who is in the photo on the left. I talked to Devlin and a guy named Luia about their names in the Cyrillic alphabet, which I randomly know from Valleyfair, the same place that taught me Spanish. I believe the woman in the middle of the photo is named Alejandra, and she’s from Argentina. The other interesting thing at the meetup was that the cashier was speaking Spanish with us too. Her name is Aria, and I told her she should work every Monday night now.

At this point, I randomly have some important thoughts about my life that are written my notes. I wrote, "When I get depressed, I get really obsessed with the idea of becoming more normal by getting off disability. When I’m not so depressed, I actually quite enjoy being on disability."

After the meetup at Mojo, a group of us popped over to a restaurant named Barroco. There, I sat across from a girl named Evelyn. She goes by Evy and is also from Quito. I also talked to her and a guy named Jose about the fact that I can currently only work part time. I also learned that this guy named Jose works in a paper shredding company. I believe that Evelyn and Jose are in the bottom middle photo. This is not well-written at all, and I know I missed a ton. It's too bad that I didn't write this last night. In fact, I forgot my computer in the back of my car last night, which caused some confusion today.
