Me with Calendar, Nothing, Twilight BeReal with Mom

September 9, 2023: Alright I don’t have good photos for today. It’s too bad, because tonight Deb came over and we had pasta together, the creamy chicken rotini from Prima, that we used to get for birthdays. I think I just forgot to take a photo, so I’m just putting in a random selfie I took with the time stamp that I was sending to some guy from France from BeReal who asked me what the time was here. Let’s think about the rest of the day. Well this morning, I started off the day with a mild fever, which we don’t know the reason for. I had my meds at 7:27am with a vanilla bean Häagen-Dazs yogurt for 11g of fat. And mom also braided my hair this morning. We also went on a short walk. The exciting thing today was that we drove back to my 50th street apartment to pick up some stuff, like scrunchies. We also brought back all the laundry that had been in sitting here washed for a few days. The only other thing I really accomplished today was watching two more Twilight movies. Mom and I have decideed our goal for the weekend is to make it through all of them. I watched New Moon and Eclipse, I think, which still leaves me two more for tomorrow, since the last one is broken into two parts. I also succeeded in asking Talia if she had the Twilight books still, which I’d like to read again now. She couldn’t find them in her room, and I couldn’t either, even when I looked back at my house. We decided I might want to buy them soon at Half Price Books. Might ask her to grab them for me tomorrow, since she’ll be there working. The other kind of success of the day was that I went through my calendar a bit while mom was at her hair appointment, and I cancelled a couple things I won’t be able to make because of the surgery recovery. I also emailed Methodist and explained to them about the recovery, and said that I might have to be out of commission for a while. This content is organized quite badly, and I don’t really have the energy to go back and make it better. I should also mention that I had my night meds at 7:03pm, with a small portion of the dinner we were eating with Deb, which was the creamy chicken rotini.

To be grateful for: Grateful that my fever went down, even though I had one for a bit this morning.
