Me Good Lighting and Sam at Venn

May 22, 2023: Well God it’s the next day. I didn’t do a bit of this yesterday. Honestly yesterday I did not do a good job of writing down what I did. Let’s just start with the photos. So first of all I have that selfie that I took when I was ready to meet Sam that I sent to him, that I just noticed had really good lighting so I saved it. The next photo is Sam at Venn Brewery. For the beer I had, I think I got the Northodox, which wasn’t a sour but kind of tasted like one. Google tells me it’s a citrus-forward new England IPA. Kinda dumb that I didn’t write down what we ordered. Just going off my memory here. I haven’t got a literal clue what he got. So lemme start with the few notes I do have, mostly from earlier in the day. So basically I had my meds at 6:45am with two eggs I think. Then I met with Jessica a tiny bit after 11am. I decided to wear the hoops I always had worn to Fogo because I looked at my picture from last time and I’d already worn my boob earrings from Caroline with him. He remembered that, and I told him that that’s why I wore the “Fogo hoops.” Then I went over to Papa’s after Jessica. I also texted Caroline some screenshots of some of Sam’s messages because I found them very confusing. I didn’t understand what he was saying about maybe being called into work, and Caroline helped me figure it out. Then I had lunch at Papa’s, which was fish n’ chips that he got coming from Grandma’s house. Then for the rest of the day I pretty much just worked on Tandem and messaged bunch of people in Spanish. I know I asked Papa what I’d done, and he said "not that many actual things." I just talked on Tandem a lot, and I had an hour long call with a Spanish-speaking Brazilian, who I told about always wanting to say “traumatismo craniano” even in Spanish. Then Sam called me to figure out the stuff about being later, and I literally had him talk to Papa for a second on the call. I also heard from Open Door about a photo shoot option on June 5th. Then I had my meds at 5pm with some Lamb Vindaloo. I got home a little bit after 6pm, when Sam said he might come. He got there and I told him it’s good he was a few minutes behind because I wasn’t there at 6pm anyways. Then he met Papa! Papa had been saying maybe he’d stop in to see us at Venn, and I told him I’d rather just get it done right away. So yeah, Papa talked to him a bit and even told him about some job he used to have that he got fired from, since Sam was talking about being called into work and not wanting to be late. Then, Papa left and Sam and I went inside and chilled for a bit, and then we walked to Venn Brewery. I even commented on the field we walked by where I’d played soccer as an elementary school student. Tragically Venn didn’t have a food truck last night, so what we did was we walked back to my house and ate a frozen pizza and watched a Spanish movie. Honestly, in the movie I asked him a ton of specific words that came up, since fortunately there were subtitles in Spanish, not translated subtitles. The movie was called ¡Que Viva México!, which I had to look up on my TV because I didn’t write a single thing down yesterday. I also just randomly remembered that I walked Sam through everything I was wearing yesterday, like the green pants from Talia, the Marvel shirt from Hannah and the turtle socks from Florida. Honestly I had an absolutely amazing time yesterday. I’ll just call this done because I didn’t write down nearly as much as happened. Oh and I also took my extra BeReals with Sam at Venn yesterday because I’d gotten extras from doing it exactly on time at Papa’s house earlier in the day around 5:54pm. What we did was at Venn, we took both of the two extras that I got for doing it on time, one of which we called “dulce y amargo” and the other one was “que un treat!” Ya know we didn’t have like a complete conversation in Spanish in person, but we did talk in it a bit, plus watching the movie that I had to ask a million words for. Also just randomly remembered after writing this that I even told him that I like to use my chapstick I labeled “Florida” only when I’m feeling happy, and I’d just put it on, and he asked if I was happy, and I was.
