Massage with Cailee and Sakana With Uma, Bella, Liza

May 27, 2023: Alright the day’s not over yet. I woke up and took my meds at 8am and then took the shower I hadn’t done yesterday. I literally took my meds in the shower, just since the alarm rang, and then right when I got out I drank a cup and a half of oat milk. After the shower I popped over to Jodi’s house to pick up some cups of guacamole she got me, and said hi to Papa there too. Then mom said she was already at my house, so I drove back home and she picked up some groceries, including oat milk, cranberry juice, travel shampoo/conditioner, and then we left to go to the massage we had, which I think was at Womens Spa Salon in downtown Minneapolis. We decided that mom would get her massage first, then me. During her massage I sat outside and just played some phone games and texted people, trying to figure out what I was doing tonight. Literally also messaged some of Liam’s friends to ask about trivia, but a lot of them aren’t going and I’m going somewhere else now too! I was thinking I kind of wished I’d brought my portable phone charger, since I was down to 50%. I’ll bring it tonight at least. I also just drank my cranberry juice. Then I went into the massage and I literally had the best conversation with the masseuse, who’s name I think was Cailee. I talked to her about how I knew a Kailee in college who spelled it differently. We literally talked about my relationship situations, the TBI, disability, everything. After that, mom and I drove over to Hardee’s and I got a mushroom melt, fries and Cherry Coke. I ate a bit late in the day, so as mom said it might actually be better to take the meds with dinner, since we’re eating at a Vietnamese place where the fat content won’t be too high probably. Anyways, now that I’ve just put all my stuff away and I’ll clean my house a bit following my Saturday cleaning list, and then I’ll leave for Vina’s at like 4:20 or 30, which is also about the time I can take my meds, since I had a high fat lunch. Well, we tried to go to Vina’s, but it was closed for remodeling. I got there like 15 minutes early and looked to my left and saw the sushi restaurant that I’d gone to with Jodi recently, and decided to give it a shot. I texted them and told them if they came to Vina’s it was like 20 feet away. Then I went in and tried to ask about the fat count a bit, but of course they don’t have any nutrition information. So I just googled how much fat was in a generic California roll, and it was about 8g. Plus miso soup has about 2g of fat. So I ordered a Sumo Roll, that had spicy white cucumber and spicy mayo, and funny as heck when I was first there just asking about the fat, someone called me from the side. It was Uma!!!!! One of the ones who used to be a really good friend of mine at Fogo. When Liza and Bella got there it turned out she was actually gonna be our server. I asked Uma what was spicy and she gave me a few options, and I still chose the Sumo Roll. Then I decided to take my meds kinda randomly at 7:12pm, while I was eating. Well based on the conversations we had I learned Bella has started training as a doula, and she has to deliver five babies before finishing, and she and her boyfriend Jordan are going to France. Liza’s also living in San Francisco, not Berkeley, now. They also both came from Duluth where they were together because they’d been there since midday yesterday. Personally I told them a lot about my life, and my situation with disability and everything, and how amazing the Florida trip was. They also got to hear about Sam a bit. So yeah it was a really good dinner, and actually a good thing that Vina’s was closed for remodeling, because we got to be served my Uma, who randomly gave us a friends and family discount too. Ah well, going back to the photos, at the massage place I just took a BeReal of the waiting room. Then when I got home my BeReal for today went off, and I literally captioned it “damn it I just left Liza and Bella.” Tragic. It’s also got my new thermos that mom got me today in it. I like the rainbows, even though I miss the cactus thermos. I’d like to find it some time, but not today.
