Lunds with Tom Balster and Liam something

March 11, 2023: Well damn it today I’m not waiting til the end of the day to write. I kinda fucked up on my medication time this morning and I even told Papa that I took the first one at 4:30. At least I can have my night meds tonight kind of early. So for my “fatty” breakfast that Papa said I could have around 7:40, I had 3 eggs. Ok lemme write about work now. I met a lady named Pam who just got back from surgery so she wasn’t here. Later I also met her husband, who I took groceries out for. I also told him the story behind the broken ceiling, the ice truck that ran into it and didn’t know either it or the ceiling was 13 feet. Abby also said today that for bagging the only exception to putting the eggs on top is if there’s bread in the bag. I also learned that the manager Diane is asking a busser named Charlie to take my shift for the 20th. So that should work so I can see Whitney on the 20th, and also see Hannah that night. I just texted Hannah that too. Ok, now I’m done with work. I last ate at 12 I think, so can do meds by 2. Fuck It it I can do them now. I will. So meds at 2:40pm. I had a pretty good day, mainly because I worked with Tom Balster, who’s one of my dad’s neighbors who I grew up with. I talked to him a lot and even told him about my goal to get 10k steps a day. Tom also taught me some cashier stuff, like the buttons to press to ring up customers. I also talked to a busser named Patrick a bit, who is much older. Patrick saw me writing in my notebook and asked if I was writing a story. I also told him that I’m recovering from a traumatic brain injury. On my break at 11:30 I bought a bacon quiche for $8.29, that I ate with sweet and sour sauce. On break I also won a level of phase 10 with 3 stars, so I guess I did end up playing phase 10 phone game today. Shortly after I got back from break I did have my Ritalin, which the alarm rang for at 12. I had to run back to the locker room to get it so I had it at 12:01. Today the managers were Diane and Lisette. After Tom went home I bussed for a lady named Stacy. Stacy said they give out free samples on Sundays usually. I told her that at my old job at Fogo I ate for free and I also told her that I was wondering where I would eat once I didn’t work there. I’m really thinking that in the future I should bring food and not buy it. So that’s my goal tomorrow. I need to bring something from home or Liam’s house. Kinda hard because I’m seeing Caroline for brunch tomorrow, but I’ll figure it out. Maybe run home, maybe grab something at Liam’s. I also low key want a long Lunds sleeved shirt because Stacy said the long sleeved shirts all say Lunds on the sleeve. So I’ll bring in a short sleeved shirt I haven’t worn yet tomorrow and exchange it, which Diane told me I could do. I’m not gonna lie a big goal of mine is to get Snapchats or Instagrams for some people at work. Maybe tomorrow, I’m not sure. Ah well it’s 3:30 now. I’m gonna go over to Liam’s whenever he tells me I can. Did Liam’s. It was great. I played trivia with Liam and Lily and Alex and Ben Petty and Ezra and we won 4th place. No prizes. It was a good night. We watched Birdcage. I know during trivia I thought that I didn’t even know there was that much stuff I didn’t know. The people who usually win first place didn’t, they won second. And I asked one of them how they always win first place. He said that they have people who specialize in different things. I’m just waiting for the day that there’s geography stuff in trivia. I would shine. They said that they usually have some questions about geography. They haven’t the last few weeks though. We also watched a little bit of Game of Thrones at Liam’s. I was wondering if I should read the books or watch the show first. I want to do one of them. Maybe read. It would be good to get back into reading. Lily didn’t like game of thrones so she was in the other room when that was happening. It’s the next day now. Even though I brought my laptop and charger to Liam’s I didn’t do my photo.
