Lunds with Abby

Feb. 28, 2023: Well today I worked at Lunds at 1pm-5pm. Honestly I don’t feel like it went great. I don’t even know what was wrong. The only success of the day was being able to tell Abby about this project. Thank God my call with Mike turned into physically seeing him. I’m about to go over. Damn I didn’t take a photo with Mike. It was easily the best part of my day. Let me just look at my notes for the rest of it. Well last time I bagged for Abby B. and yesterday for Abby A., who is a supervisor. I even told her that talking to her is what made me decide to work at Lunds. So there’s another success of the day. And that’s why I took the photo with her too. I also translated a “fuck ton” at Open Door. Three groups needed it and the first one literally spoke 0 English, and the second two could kind of communicate. I even told the guys in the first group that I learned Spanish dating an Equadorian. I also used my Lunds lock at Open Door this time. I also learned that they need a translator pretty desperately on Tuesday mornings. So I’ll definitely plan to do that for Tuesday mornings now. At Lunds I also talked a bit to a girl named Kaitlyn, shortly after Caitlyn Cudd came in. She said that Dominic her son works there too but he’s at school now. Kaitlyn and I also talked about name spellings a bit and she said her aunt is Anya spelled Anja. I told Abby A. about this project and everything. I also learned yesterday that between the two people I had been confused were gender fluid, both of them are. I also told a customer that my birthday was St. Patrick’s Day, after she bought a St. Patrick’s Day card. Then I went home and went to meet up with Mike, which was easily easily the best part of my day. Mike said that he moved into the senior housing community right behind Sabathani where he used to work in like December. He also said that Sabathani used to be come once a month like Open Door is, but now it’s “come when you want.” He also told me that if I want to I should consider going back there and volunteering again. Well as far as my photos, I have the selfie I took with Abby A., and a screenshot of my BeReal, which I did exactly on time yesterday, just on break. It also has my new name tag in the photo. Oh damn, another success of the day, getting my name tag. Damn I should have taken a photo with Mike though.
