Today started off with a therapy session with Jessica. She tried to convince me that volunteer working is real working. I’m still not sure I believe that, but a solid attempt was made. My day continued with me picking up my two CDs that Bernie had given me from Jodi, because I had forgotten them in Bill’s car the other day. Before meeting up with Liza, I went into Quixotic and chilled there for an hour or so. Then, I met Liza for lunch at 2:30pm. Meeting up with her was fantastic, and I just know she’s reading this right now #HelloLiza. Seeing her today actually meant that for once the nighttime Spanish meetup wasn’t the highlight of my day, like it often is. We also got our BeReals on time together, after I was inspired to pick up my phone by hers going off. After we met up, I decided to continue reading the book on memory that my grandma had given me for my birthday. All the words in it that I don’t know I’m circling in red, with the intent to some day go back and look them all up. I stayed in the Starbucks we visited together for a few hours after meeting, until it was time for my Spanish meetup. At the meetup, I talked to Francisco quite a bit, as I have done for several weeks. I also watched him and a woman named Deb play a game of chess. Honestly that experience made me want to learn chess quite a bit. It had already been on my list of “maybe to do,” but now it definitely is on my list. I feel like it’s something you can get very into as well. Liza also suggested editing Wikipedia articles as a way to kill time, which I could maybe pursue using my oodles of excessive free time.
