Lox Sandwich, Oh Heck with Family and Bocce Ball with Jodi/Bill/Papa

July 23, 2023: Ok let’s just go through the day basically. So in the morning, I first took my meds at 7:08am and then mom came over and we figured some stuff out. We replied to the Rotary guy about his Reels ideas, and we bought a few pairs of pajama shorts, since my old ones got weirdly stretched out and don’t work anymore. We also decided that I didn’t actually want to go on the date I’d had planned for today. After mom left, I decided to check if anyone was doing anything for lunch. Sitting in my apartment, I actually ended up giving Jodi a call, though she and her boyfriend were actually at estate sales at the time. Talking to them, I decided to go Asa’s bagels for lunch. There I got a lox sandwich, only because they were out of the whitefish sandwich that would have been a few dollars cheaper. The really cool thing that happened there was a woman behind the counter was actually that woman named Mercedes who I had talked to a ton in Spanish a few weeks ago, and she was impressed that I remembered her name. Then we had more conversations in Spanish, where I told her a bit about the family vacation we were on in Wisconsin, and how my friends couldn’t come this year unfortunately. I also told her about the upcoming interview at the Bilingual Education Center, which of course she was hugely in favor of too. Then, I thought I might go to a JCC yoga class with Jodi, but actually she and Bill have put their membership on pause for a few months, so I didn’t do that. Instead, we decided to all play Bocce Ball together. So what we did is we met up at Jodi’s house with her an Bill and Papa too. Then we took a short walk to the parkways where we could play bocce ball. During the game, Jodi and Bill were paired up and they won. It’s a fun game though. Ok, so now I’m posting this the next day even though everything I had written til here was written yesterday, the 23rd. Just realized I forgot to add to this that we also played Oh Heck with Jodi, Bill and Papa. I have the picture of it in here, so I thought I’d added it, but I guess I hadn’t.
