John at Open Door and Gym

Feb. 27, 2023: Have no idea what I’ll write today. Just making the documents now. About to meet with Jessica. During my meet with Jessica she asked about seeing friends and I said that Hannah wasn’t replying to my messages and I didn’t know if they went through, so Jessica had me call her. Turns out that the messages were going through, she just hadn’t replied. Hannah also answered my question about going to Florida in May, and she’s down. In the meeting with Jessica she even said that it seems like I’m becoming less impulsive and more thoughtful when it comes to dating. Well to start with the notes, this morning I found a portable charger that I have that isn’t charged yet. So maybe I shouldn’t have bought a new one. This morning I also changed my Open Door availability to make time available for my Whitney appointment. I also had some leftovers that I actually was wondering where they came from. Texted both parents a picture and neither knew where it was from. We decided that maybe they were mom’s Chimborazo leftovers. I also changed my employer on VicNet, the Open Door site. Also sent Joe a kind of personal message and he said that as long as I’m not robbing banks or selling organs it’s all good. We both said we were excited for the 14th, and we talked about birthdays a bit, since his was a week or two ago and mine is in a few weeks. I also made another batch of coffee using the coffee in teabag thing that Liam had given me. Then I went to Open Door and frankly I didn’t have an amazing time. I was just being a greeter, which means I sit at a desk the whole time. There was one person I spoke a tiny bit of Spanish to but no one who really needed it. I worked with this guy named Judd who I talked to a bit but really didn’t do much, and didn’t even take a photo with him. Fortunately at the very end I was able to help the volunteer John a bit in the back. I was just pouring dog food into plastic bags, which doesn’t sound exciting but it was nice. I got to 4k doing that. John also said that I was pouring way faster than he could, so I “made him look bad.” John is retired and has been at Open Door like 2 months. He also volunteered at a place called Metcalf for over two years. I also had my meds a bit early today, at 2:30. So then I was good to eat by 3:30, though Open Door didn’t have any really good food like I was hoping they would. I just had a cupcake and Twix bar when I could eat. After Open Door I just went home and chilled a bit then picked up some windshield wipers, which I needed because one of mine broke today, it wasn’t too old, the rubber thing just came off it. I bought them at Home Depot and then stopped in O’Reilly Auto Parts to have the guy attach them to my car. Then I went to the gym, where I called Papa for a few minutes. During that call I decided to go home and eat food that I had at home. He told me to watch a video and make the food before I called mom. I did that. Had some kind of rice blend. I don’t even know if I got it at Sabathani or where. Makes me think about going back to Sabathani, though Mike is gone so I kind of don’t want to.
