Joe at Bde Maka Ska and Jodi and Bill with Penny

Updated: Apr 16, 2023

April 10, 2023: Last night I just wrote “well today was not a super good day. I was actually wondering earlier in the day what my picture would be. I had two sessions of therapy his morning, which were good. Screw it, I’m too tired to do this so I’m going to sleep,” and I did the photos. Well yesterday wasn’t great. To start with my notes, I had my meds at 5am with four slices of cheese. Then I had a lot of therapy appointments. I first met with Jessica, I told her that I’d decided not to try to go back to Lunds and was volunteering at a Methodist Church by my house tomorrow, aka today. After that I met with Whitney too. So, it was kind of a day of therapy. Then what I did was joined Tandem, which the guy I knew before the accident on Discord asked me to do, and chatted with a bunch of people there. So, I connected with him (called prodigy) on Tandem and then during my appointment I responded to Sam J. and told him I had a good time at trivia. Then I met up with Joe at his place and walked around Lake Calhoun, aka Bde Maka Ska. We talked about the naming a bit, and honestly, I didn’t write down other stuff we talked about at all. I did learn that he snowboards, and he told me that if you kill yourself things will never get better, which was interesting enough to write down. When we were at Calhoun, aka Bde Maka Ska, we actually walked over to the Lunds there for him to buy something small. I told him that those guys in the tan shirts have the job I used to have. Funny enough I had my meds a bit earlier in the day, at 3:22, just because I was thinking I wanted to be able to eat with Joe when I saw him, but then I didn’t didn't do that. I actually met up with Bill for dinner. We were talking about Chipotle, but decided to just make ravioli, which we ate with red pasta sauce. Then we tried to log into Alex’s Hulu to watch How I Met Your Mother, but I couldn’t do it, so instead we watched a movie in Spanish, called Belle Epoque. I admit that I even told them that I felt like I was reading the subtitles too much, not listening and trying to understand as much as I should have. Then we watched the first scene of Licorice Pizza, which Bill said was really cool. Then Jodi came home and she said that I had left her space to drive into the garage. So that was the end of my night. And now I’ve done my photo of the day.
