April 14, 2023: Alright the day isn’t even over yet and I’m writing ahead of time. I had my meds at 7:15am with Special K cereal, which I was careful to drink all of the milk out of. Then I went into the gym for my training sessions. I realized that I was like over an hour early for my 10am session so I went into the hot tub for a bit beforehand. I used the new purple swim suit. I think I like the fit of it the best out of the new ones. Then I went to my training session with Will. I told him that I’d asked my sister’s girlfriend about being a gym trainer and that she said that that was a really common question for kinesiology majors. Then after training I didn’t go back into the hot tub, because I’d already done that, just went straight over to Papa’s and we finished our hand of Canasta that we’d started the other day. I did end up winning, absolutely crushed him. He didn’t even get to 5000 whereas I was at 5400 something. It turned out that Jodi was coming by for lunch soon anyways. When she was here I took my medicine at 12pm exactly. Then we went to Taquería la Hacienda. I ordered three tacos árabes with carne asada, and I did it all in Spanish. I also got an horchata, and my tacos were really more like mini burritos than tacos, which is more like what they got. So I shared the last one of mine because it was more than enough food. I also wrote that the tacos they got that were more of what I expected tacos to be. After that Jodi stopped by Home Depot to get some soil to put somewhere. Then we brought the soil back to Papa’s house and Mississippi Market actually also contacted me about a part time job. So I have a phone call set up tomorrow at 12:30pm. Now I’m gonna go and maybe meet up with Alec. Alright I met up with Alec and I failed to finish my photo of the day yesterday. What happened was we tried to go to the Nokomis Naturescape Gardens and then we got there and it was basically nothing, so we just walked around the lake. Then we walked to Dominguez and Dominguez was way too busy and we just kinda sat down and then decided to leave because we weren’t gonna get served. So we walked over to Casa Maria as well. I told him about my note taking and even showed him my notebook. We also got a drink, I got the Zócalo, and he got the spicy pineapple margarita. The Zócalo I thought was better, I tried his once and it was kinda too sour. I also asked him how he became an HR coordinator and he said it was something with his dad. I also told him about how I had the phone call with Mississippi Market the next day, so it was good that that happened just so I could have something to say that wasn’t depressing. I did tell him that my goal now was to find a job where I could make friends. And he knows a ton about disability because his sister is on it for mental health concerns. I did ask how she got on it, and he didn’t know exactly. For food I ordered the chorizo de coliflor, even though I don’t like chorizo that much, and he ordered te pollo al pastor. It’s funny the food came while I was in the bathroom so I actually ended up eating his and he ate mine. I liked his so much more than mine. It was really good. He even took the leftovers from mine home, and he liked mine ok. So it worked out alright. He also said he’s an ENFP and I said I’m an ENTJ and joined some people online in groups talking about that. Mentioned a lot about my online friendships before the accident. Then we walked back to my house and watched 21 Jump Street. Frankly I was pretty sure I’d watched it before but I didn’t remember it at all. So that was interesting. Oh and for the photos we took a selfie at the lake too and also one at Casa María and then the server saw us taking one and offered to take one for us. I didn’t get his name. Too bad. Also failed to post this last night. Wrote the first half of it and then not the rest.
