Jackie and Fogo with Trevor and Macie

Nov. 13, 2022: Well today a couple good things happened. I worked the morning and got like 6000 steps there then I met up with Jackie who also had had a brain injury. She said she was really apathetic and felt a lot of rage at first. I definitely have the apathy but no rage so far. Today something kind of bad happened at Fogo where Israel tried to give me her shift and Matt wouldn’t let me take it. Said I had too many hours or something. So that was a negative. Also Macie is gonna be serving tomorrow, and Genesis was serving today. I sat her tables twice today. Remembered that. I clocked in at 573 steps, and worked with Macie, Israel, Brenda, Lea and Aliera, I think. There were like 132 reservations for the morning, though it went up a little bit. Joel was the server with the Minnesota tattoo on his neck, and I also took a medium tray from him. I spoke a little Portuguese to one Brazilian table, and tried to get Trevor to talk to them too. I also took a picture with Trevor. I like him quite a bit. Today I learned he’s gay too. At Venn with Jackie we both had sour beers. My favorite. Jackie when we met up said that she knows the feeling of not feeling anything and also saw being able to cry as a success. We agreed that you don’t need to tell your parents everything, and I told her some stuff they don’t know. Also after work at Fogo I talked to this one server named Willow quite a bit. She hadn’t known about the accident and I told her everything about that. It was a good talk. We didn’t take a photo together though.
