Hannah: Ambiance and Amigas, El Sid Taco Bowl and Ice Cream with Mom

May 12, 2023: Alright starting at 4:38pm today. Today I had my meds at 6:30am with an avocado and a bit of toast. I also updated my Facebook profile picture and cover photos to photos from this trip, and my Instagram profile pic after posting a photo from yesterday on Instagram. Papa also gave me a site that helps with Palabra del Día, called word unscrambler. Hannah also told me that stopping doing the thing where I accept every single friend request on Facebook from strangers was a sign of “character growth.” I also messaged Liam a bit, and he said that he doesn’t know Canasta, but is open to learning, and then I told him about applying at Seward Co-op right by Hannah’s house, which I’m excited about. We also agreed that we were glad to have met Sam J, who lives right by Mississippi Market and who I visited there with. I also talked to a guy from ASU named Mario who I hadn’t known that well when I as at ASU, but I’ve been talking to a ton recently, and he told me that if he’s ever visiting his cousin in Minneapolis he’ll let me know. Mom also gave my ends a trim and I organized my suitcase while Hannah went for a swim. While she showered, I chose my clothes for the next day and found a way to wear my new Vero Beach hat and a butterfly hair clip at the same time. Then we went to El Sid Taquería again, and mom dropped off me and Hannah because she wanted to go to the Red Onion to get a sandwich. Randomly I didn’t bring my purse or credit card because I thought I was going with mom, but then it turned out to be just with Hannah, and she said she’d pay for me too, out of payment for X. I ordered a salad it was amazingly better than the last thing I ordered, especially once I mixed up the corn, salsa and beans into the salad. Basically what I did for photos during dinner is I took one BeReal with our appetizer, which was chips and guacamole, and one with our food, since I’d earned the two extra posts on BeReal by doing my first one exactly on time at the brewery earlier in the day. Also during my dinner I had my night meds at 6:48pm, since I was having roughly the right about of fat. Kinda good I didn’t quite finish my meal so I didn’t go too far over over on the fat count, even though I also did that because I wasn’t hungry for more, and it was a big meal. Well what we did after dinner is we walked over to the Red Onion to meet up with my mom, and she bought us some ice cream at a place called Killian’s right next door. I chose the pistachio ice cream in a bowl, and Hannah chose the cherry cone, which I tried and was quite good. I was thinking that if I was ever there again I might give cherry a try. We’ll see if I can remember that years into the future when I’m back. Oh and then we get to the last photo, which I literally just had someone take because my mom commented I was looking very young at the time, and I wanted to see how I looked. We agreed that it might be the colorful shirt from Goodwill, or the hat that was making me look young. When we got home, Hannah and I were too tired to watch a movie, so we just went over to the pool and I read Spanish a bit in Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal, and when we went we wore swim suits but we didn’t even get in. While I was out there I also told Hannah that this trip has convinced me that I might be happy again in the future, not that I’ll never be again. That has been a big development, and it’s good that I told that to Hannah. Then we went inside and I did like half this writing but didn’t finish it.
