Hannah, Liam and Lily and Papa at Canadian Honker

Feb. 9, 2023: Today was amazing. I drove back from Mayo Clinic and Papa said that next time I might be able to drive to Mayo Clinic alone. I was also offered the job at Lunds by a guy named Connor who I talked to on the phone. I think I might quit Fogo for now and just do Lunds. I did also drive into Lunds and talked to a woman named Abby who said she started as courtesy clerk and is now a supervisor. I did confirm that courtesy clerks walk a fair amount, which is what I was concerned about. I also bought some new notepads that aren’t Fogo notepads, at the advice of Jodi. Looking at my notes, I had my morning meds at 5:35 this morning then went back to sleep. I had the probe on my left middle finger. Then I got up again and took the probe off again at 7:48. Papa told me to make sure to ask Hannah and Liam questions about themselves. Whitney also helped me come up with some questions. At Canadian Honker I had had the stuffed french toast with bacon, and he had the eggs benedict. Papa also told me that I should do other personal projects with photography, which I’m less than excited about. Tonight I’ll do a trivia night with Hannah and Liam. I had my night meds at 4:35 today so I’ll be good to eat at 5:35. I was also offered the position with volunteering today. So it’s just a day of successes. The idea is that I would do the volunteering as a Spanish translator thing on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. I would also be able to drive there. Tonight I also went out to Black Sheep with Liam, Lily and Hannah for game night. Unfortunately the game night was Gillmore Girls themed, which I knew nothing about and have never seen. Lily knew a bit but the rest of us didn’t. At least the food was good. We had a mushroom, spinach and ricotta pizza and also an appetizer of meatballs. I also had the wildberry sour, called “Inbound to be continued.” I also tried a bit of someone else’s sparkling margarita. Also based on talking I learned the Heidi is a “musical genius,” which I never knew or would have guessed. I also had the idea to drive into Nolo’s some time and try the tripleberry sour. Hannah also agrees that I should step away from Fogo for a while and said that even if I don’t keep up this level of documentation forever, it’s gonna be really special to have this for this time of my life. Hannah also randomly remembered that in the hospital when I was barely conscious and they were trying to get me to talk I remembered that the capital of Honduras was Tegucigalpa. I’m actually a little intereted in learning the capitals of the world again, and I’ve already quizzed myself on them a few times.
