May 13, 2023: Still on the flight, not writing now, we’re landing. That’s all I wrote earlier today when I was arranging the photos at the very end of the flight. Ok now it’s the next day and I’ll finally write my photos. Well basically what happened is I had an amazing walk with Hannah on the beach and then ate my lunch, which was leftover shrimp salad, then we flew home. To start with the notes, I had my meds at 7am with an avocado and a piece of toast. Then I took a Harry Potter test for the house I’m in, which a guy on Instagram told me about, and my result was Slytherin. Totally not shocking, I put it on my Snapchat story too. I also talked to Hannah and we decided it could be a kind of orange day, since I had orange eye shadow and orange hair clip. I also swept the whole condo, including a bunch of dead ants on the porch, and took out the trash and recycling. Hannah also told me that the pink pen we used were from American Icon Brewery, and I have one of them and it has good memories. I also learned how to say “grams of fat” in Spanish from a guy on Instagram. Then, Hannah and I picked up the laundry that my mom was doing and decided to take a long walk, which I put on sunscreen for. During the walk Hannah told me that I should get a hat that says “Nokomis beach babe.” We also talked about what we wanted to do on the flight, and she told me the shows she wants to watch. We talked about the fact that I wanted to watch No Manches Frida again, and also read some of Harry Potter in Spanish. She said I’d probably have time to do both. I also thanked Hannah for helping me with my “last Florida photos,” in Spanish. I said also that I don’t know what I’d have done with the TBI pre-cell phone cameras, because I always take pictures of things I wanna remember. When we got back I was also quite hungry and I thanked mom for pushing me to not finish my salad from El Sid yesterday, and I noted that I’d last eaten around 1pm, for the meds. I also asked mom the names of the people whose house we were staying, and it was Bob and Julie. Totally not important, but I remember I wore some of Bob’s green crocs when I was taking out the recycling. Then we drove to the airport, and stopped to get gas on the way. We also learned there was one gas station that totally scammed people, and was charging $5.69 not $3.48, so we didn’t go to that one. On the way to the airport mom also talked to me about what my plan for jobs should be, and we were saying that it should be a “graduated path,” and we’re exploring things like Spanish translation and grocery stores, and also I should maybe reach out to the woman from Spain named Rosa who we know, who works in bilingual education. I also grabbed the Atkins shake out of the trunk and kinda misread the time so I took my medication at 2:31pm, which was a little bit too soon. Mom said it’d be fine though because the last thing I ate was just a salad. I also showed Hannah some of my profiles that include screeenshots of BeReals with her in them. Oh and I also told Hannah that I’d lost the pin she gave me a few days ago, and she told me that I just had to buy some spices to get another one. Then it really had been two hours after my meds by the time we ate next, which was at Nathan’s in the airport. We tried to g to Outback Steakhouse, but it was taking too long so we went to Nathan’s. I had a chicken sandwich with fries and Sprite mixed with Hi-C. We also talked about the fact that Hannah doesn’t like ketchup or BBQ sauce, and I actually mixed up both of those things to dip my fries in. We also talked about how good it was to eat sushi with Hannah since she likes wasabi, and I like ginger more than her, so we can trade. Then we went to the plane. Funny enough I chose to sit in the middle seat, not trade with Hannah like I did on the way there, just because I was hoping I’d sit next to someone who spoke Spanish, and it actually turned out even better than that. I was sitting next to a Brazilian guy named Higor, from São Paolo, and we talked to each other a ton. At the very end, when the flight was landing, we even spoke in Portuguese to each other a bit and he asked for my Instagram. Honestly that was easily the best part of my day, and I didn’t get a photo with him. I’ve just put in the screenshot of the Instagram he gave me. I also told him that the only thing I really knew how to say in Portuguese was “traumatismo craniano,” which my old boss had told me when I worked at a Brazilian restaurant. Oh and during the flight we didn’t talk the whole time, and I actually also watched No Manches Frida again, and it was even better the second time. Took a few notes on words it told me too. It’s funny because I told Hannah that I wanted to watch the movie and read Harry Potter 1 a bit more, and I did both of those things, in addition to finding a Portuguese conversation partner. I even told him at the end that I chose to not trade seats with Hannah because I was hoping to sit next to a Spanish speaker, and I even told him that Hannah was the one who taught me Spanish. Then at the very end when we were landing I got these photos in here too, so it was a really good flight.
