Hannah at Mom’s pool, Los Padres, Hannah at Curry Corner

Updated: Jul 4, 2023

July 2, 2023: Alright this morning started way better than last morning because I had the 11g fat yogurt to start my day with, not a failed disaster of salmon chunks. I kinda don’t wanna write through my whole day because I’m tired. I’ll just do the highlights.

Basically mom brought me some items she’d bought for me, and then I went over to Papa’s house, where mom also went with her pasta salad. At the house mom and I also went through a bunch of the old clothes Talia and I had left there. We got six bags of clothes to donate, and one bag to save that I actually might be interested in. Then she drove me to drop the clothes off at Goodwill, and we went back to her house to wait for Hannah to come over.

While we were there we played half a round of Canasta, which we’d also done in the morning with Papa at the house. Previously I’d used one of my extra shots from yesterday for a BeReal of that. Then Hannah came over, and we went to the pool at mom’s place. Hannah and mom also talked a bit about the new condo situation that’s happening.

Honestly I also took that selfie of me with Hannah, but I liked the photo that mom took of us in the pool a bit better. Hannah was unfortunately unable to swim because her tattoo was too recent. But she still sat on the edge and we had some great conversations. We also decided it might be better to go to a place in Northeast than to order pizza at the pool.

So we decided to walk over to Curry Corner, an Indian place. It was absolutely amazing. I got the beef vindaloo, since it was cheaper than the lamb, and Hannah got the saag with pander. She also called me her historian, since I was taking notes half the time. We sat outside. Also got the spicy margarita, and Hannah got the mango lassie. I’m experimenting with still doing this, but not writing literally every tiny thing that happens. Decent move I think. I also decided during dinner that I would love to go to Nolo’s, Hannah’s work, with Mattheas. That way she could meet him without having too much pressure too. Also could be quite fun. I’ve already asked him.
