I don’t even know what the best part of my day was today, but I have many things to choose from. In the morning, I went to yoga with Debi, and actually kind of chose to not take a picture with her because I was gonna see Hannah later for lunch. Then, at lunch the only picture I took with Hannah was my on time BeReal with her while we were playing a game of Canasta. I lost the game horribly, worse than I ever have.
Also with Hannah, we ran back to my house to pick up a bunch of stuff for moving in with Papa. I grabbed my photo of the day binder and a bunch of clothes too. I even told her that grabbing stuff from my old home with her there as well was literally on my mental to-do list. Then, we brought the stuff over to my dad’s, and tragically she had to leave before he could come by for a game of Canasta.
Then, I decided to go to this Vertical Endeavors meetup group that came from the Spanish group I’m a part of. I told them that I won’t be able to come to a lot of the future Monday night meetings because I’m enrolled in a Spanish class now, which we kind of just decided in the last few days. Anyways, with the photos... I included one that Diego took of my purple earrings because he commented on the fact that they matched my shirt and purple eyeshadow, and I was able to tell him it was all on purpose. I also have a picture of Diego doing some climbing. When I was taking those photos was also the time I talked about photography a bit, how I’ve worked as one and still enjoy capturing people doing things. I had a very nice conversation with Diego’s brother Bruno about that too. There was definitely also a time where I talked to Bruno in Spanish for a few minutes.
Then, I also have a group picture we took, with two other people from the group too. And then the last, bottom right photo, is of when we went out afterward to a brewery for a drink and conversation. That’s around the time I gave one of my green blog business cards to Diego’s brother Bruno, and he literally scanned the QR code and went to my blog in front of me at the table. I was able to explain a tiny bit about the two recent posts, including one at Open Door and one at the Spanish meetup where I’d met Diego. It’s unfortunate that I didn’t manage to give out any of my photography business cards, though I did manage to mention that I’d love to shoot some more events, and that people could contact me about that.
