Fogo with Trevor, Leo, Brandi

Dec. 23, 2022: Well I have a fantastic photo for today. I actually kind of forgot to take one most of the night, and when I remembered Trevor and Leo were both there. And then Brandi jumped in too. They all know about the project. I’m glad Leo is in this one because I had a really good conversation with him tonight. I’ve wanted to tell him I’m learning Portuguese for months, and today I finally did. We even talked about HelloTalk, the app I use to practice with natives. Well starting with my notes, today I worked with Isa, Israel, Aliera, Lea, Brenda and Diane. Me and Israel closed. She’s having her baby really soon. Said she’ll miss us. Leo also said he’s going to Brazil on January 5, so it looks like he won’t be here for when I become a server again. There was also a huge fire alarm practice today. Happened right around 6000 steps for me. I also talked to tables quite a bit, including one I talked to about their favorite meats and lamb and how good it is. I also learned that Israel’s baby’s father used to be a chef here. Colt was the new server today, and Ash said his mom had two TBIs. I told him about the accident. He actually didn’t know that I used to be a server or gotten hit by a car. I told him. At the end of the night I had picanha from Teilor, and rice. I actually did manage to get to 10,000 steeps, even though I clocked in at 2,310. When I clocked out I was at 10,301. So Fogo can get you more than 5,000 easily. Now I’m at 10,792. Damn I just realized I actually did do a photo earlier with Israel and Diane. This one is better though.
