Jan. 7, 2022: Had a decent day again today. Tragically I lost my notes around the end of the night. I even texted Trevor about it. Not sure if he still works at Fogo. I’ll ask. Just did. I started a new note pad kind of at the end of the night, just because I lost the other one. Damn I don’t even know exactly how many reservations we had because I lost my notes. It was like 1600 or something. Definitely under 2000. It felt crazier than Thanksgiving was though. Today felt absolutely insane. I admit I could not have served today, yet. I had my meds at 5pm exactly. At the end of the night El said to us hostesses that he had one thing to say, then he told us good job. One of the best parts of my day was when I talked to Stephanie on break. She was recently made a CSR, and that’s how I started the conversation. I also told her how desperate I was to get back to serving, and we talked about how I was hella close to being a CSR before the accident. She said I was next in line. We also talked to a butcher guy named Jacob a bit. He’s hoping to become a gaucho some time. She also said that she's been waiting for me to talk to her. I did. God literally everything I’ve written here I just remembered. I also told El at the end of the night “there is nothing I like more in the world than serving.” Glad I got to say that. He said that I can talk to Matt about helping out some more tomorrow. Let’s see... who’s in this photo.... When I took the photo with Stephanie on break I was thinking that I’d put in a photo from going out to Gay 90s with Diane on the right. But I decided not to do that because it would have involved staying hella late and I wanna be in good shape for the Fogo party tomorrow. At the end of my night I also had a pretty good conversation with Lea and Brenda in the back. I told them a bit about Sharif. We also talked about some other personal things. Oh also today a guy who I knew before the accident who was a bartender came back to Fogo as a server. Sheldon. I’d like to take a picture with him some time. I asked him if he was there to stay and he said yes now, just took like 7 months off. Also to end with I ate artichoke dip toast from the warmer. I didn’t eat any meat or anything. Also, today I only ate Fogo food. For lunch I had lamb from Panda with some salad bar stuff, and dinner was the artichoke dipped toast. Also, I’m ending today at 21,636 steps. So it was a decent day even though I didn’t serve at all.
