Fogo with Stella

Sept. 10, 2022: Today I actually told Stella about the photo of the day project and remembered to take a selfie with her. It was a fun night and quite busy, but honestly yesterday was better because I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. Tragically I was expecting tonight to be good, so it was fun but didn’t exceed my expectations like last night. This photo is also a little bit fucked up. Blurry and has motion. We started with 654 reservations and I carried some trays. One tray for Salima with mashed potatoes, polenta and fried banana, and also bussing a table in Rio that had a bunch of water glasses on it. I just chose to do that one.

Haven’t gotten the chance to do it clearly visible in front of a manager yet, but I will. Today Diane didn’t show up and Ava was on books. I was also trying to figure out the difference between Ejatu and Amari. Ejatu had the curly hair and Amari was the other tall black girl. I also talked to Stella about Nancy from Minnehaha Academy, and she said she had had her. I don’t think she was in the class that she talked to about the article though. What else did I write... Amy is the (dyed) red haired Asian and Matt is the red haired server. I remembered his name too, just confirmed by going up and saying something like, “Your name was Matt, right?”

My one mistake of the night is seating one two top when there was no table ready. We had to make a new two top for them. There were three managers in tonight, and Fernando closed. Michael is the blonde server with Beiber-ish hair, and I saw him in Brazil. That’s all I have written for notes. Papa asked if it’s a problem that I always am writing stuff. I don’t think it is.
