Fogo with Salima, Genesis, Israel

Dec. 2, 2022: Well tonight I started the night in a terrible mood because of the neuropsych assessment. Honestly I don’t really wanna talk about it, but basically I talked to this woman Aimee who’s a doctor and she was really realistic aka hurtful about how bad my brain injury was and how much it impacts me. I doubt she has any idea that her words ruined my day so much. I was planning on telling Papa that Fogo wasn’t even able to rescue my mood, but then it was. I was able to talk to the server Brandy a bit about god knows what. But it was nice. I also then managed to talk to Trevor a bit too. I told him that I’d been in a terrible mood but then Brandy rescued my mood a bit. He said that I deserve the best and that it makes him cry that this happened to me. Looking at my notes, I also told Israel and Genesis about my day. I also talked to some random busser at the end too. Her name was Tess and I even told her that I’d thought she was a boy. She said that happens a lot. I told her all about the accident and my goals for serving. I also asked her if she wanted to move up or just be a busser, and she said she was leaving in January for school but maybe would come back in the summer as a server. Oh also I had an interesting conversation with Matt about the driving. Said I’m doing a lesson on Friday and he said I’d better pass the test. It’s not a test, but I hope I do anyways. He also told me that both his parents are driving instructors. I did not know that at all. Oh also, this is a good photo. I asked Israel for the photo right in front of the server Salima so she got in it too. I did remember Salima’s name, and then she asked me to send it to her. It turns out I already had her on Snapchat. She’s the one who I’d had before the accident too and only recently realized that she worked at Fogo. From the notes, I also took a medium heavy tray from Brooke, who I said a bit to as well. Htee is leaving soon, the 11th. She said she’d miss me. I’m ending at 12,195 steps, randomly. No space left lol, a lot to say.
