Fogo with Pedro

Jan. 3, 2023: Basically thank God I took a selfie with Pedro today. I worked alone and definitely the best part of my day was talking to Pedro. There were like 80 reservations all night, so it was so dead. I also asked Pedro if I’d ever taken a photo with him before and he mentioned the Gay 90s photo. So then I sent him the Gay 90s photo again too. It was with Willow, who doesn’t work there anymore. I also told him that yesterday I’d made 46 in tips when I was helping Nikki serve in section 1, which I failed to put in my photo of the day yesterday. Lemme look at my notes... well in the morning I volunteered at Sabathani and I told Sherri I had a good start to the new year, and told Greg that I’d sat 300 people at Fogo alone. He asked if that was before or after the accident and I said after for sure. I also told Cat that I’d serve assisted the other day. Back to Fogo... I also got Pedro signed into Workday, just by guessing the employer code was Fogo. We did randomly have another 10 call in, and I was gonna not seat them in market because there was a new server, so new he didn’t even have a vest yet. His name was Roderick. I also did a fairly long phone call all in Spanish, which was cool. Suheily also told me she thought numbers in Spanish, because I’d asked her about thinking in English or Spanish yesterday. Also I’m glad I’m doing this project, because it really helps me keep track of what happened every day. I also was able to take a customer’s photo tonight. Didn’t tell them I used to be a photographer though. Also there was a party of two that spoke Spanish and I sat them with Pedro and told him, “hablan español.” He said he spoke Spanish too and then greeted them in Spanish. So that was cool. I already asked Suheily to give me her greet in Spanish at some point, maybe I could ask Pedro too.
